Poor Kevin had to pull a conversation out of Mark. Did anyone else fee like this was an awkward video? Trying to fill up time about a rather drab topic. 😆
regular brush regular brush strokes regular Zzzzzz
A Costco-size box of fireworks and the Rio Carnival would have struggled to liven this one up. Roger, you are sorely missed!
It's like someone bet them they couldn't fill a segment.
😂 @@ProstetnicVogonJeltz
Well, this left me with more questions than answers. :(
Just the color I've always wanted ... puke ... because that grey was such an eyesore.
What a great brand y’all are. Best practices for all our home improvement needs. Thank you.
Definitely looking into this in the spring for my front porch
My 1985 Yugo was this color.
Cool work
I like watching paint dry so interestinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng.
Thank you for the video. I never knew about this technique or product till now. I have old and new concrete right next to each other that are different tones and colors. will this blend them together or should I use epoxy paint? Thanks
Did anybody else catch, "I wont tell Mauro you're cheating on him"
Mauro
Seems like paint... wouldn't stain be more watery to penetrate?
cool!
He mentioned this is safe on concrete basement interior wall. Do we need to worry about any mold issue because of this?
I have two questions. Can you spray that and can you mix that in with your cement?
Hi! Very good videos. I’m in México city. Many people in México to see your channel. Eventually some words are difficult for traslate because are thecnnical.
Would it be possible to put subtitles in Spanish? That would help his Hispanic audience understand various technical words or American expressions used for unusual manual work.
I think that if they put subtitles in Spanish, they would increase the number of subscribers widely, because they did not find any channel like yours in America with subtitles and yours is the best.
Could this be used to colour a yard, driveway or pavement? How does it hold up to water, foot traffic or mould?
Cool
TOH is really scraping the bottom here
what brand of masonry stain did you use or do you recommend?
Could you use this on an interior concrete floor?
somehow i didn't get the brand of the stain that was used over the concrete. Please give me the key words to shop for the stain. thanks
Okay. I normally like your content. That's why I subscribe. But "how to color stain concrete?": "Buy concrete stain and apply it to the concrete" probably didn't need to be a video. Maybe add the option of stain to a number of different ways to dress up concrete for different applications would be a more useful and informative video. Just my opinion.
I hadn’t thought of this, I have a driveway that could really do with tidying before sale, could this be used in that sort of application?
I’d be worried about doing it on my own house, no idea what the longevity would be like. After s while it could look shabby with wear and tear.
It could end up looking a bit kitsch - I'd leave it at pressure washed concrete.
Scott Campbell it’s for sale in a couple of weeks and looks a right mess, lots of different patch repairs and a strip up the middle that might have been services going in. I just want it all looking the same for visitors 👍
@@ThePhilandPam paint it black or gray would take care of things the way you'd want for what you want to do
wHAT WAS THE WHITE STUFF ON THE CONCRETE IN VIDEO BEFORE YOU ADDED THE STAIN?
Let it rain constantly on that after it has dried and I bet it flakes off.
I got ace hardware to mix me some pink stain that I applied to freshly formed concrete flower bed paver that had curved tops ( like those of terracotta red brick type ) and it didn’t last one rain. So, my next try is to find my direct combination of dyes to make pink I desire and put that into the water needed to mix into the concrete. 3-28-2021
Not too sure if this is the same stuff because they said it is a colour stain but it is more of a paint we have here in New Zealand but it was pretty useless as the damn thing over time will wear away over time especially if you winterise your driveways with salt. Also darker colours in warmer climates are not ideal as it will retain heat longer.
Wow! This was unique----an old paint brush and a piece of concrete.
Isn't this Mauro's turf?
As I peer over my porch to look at my foundation.
I pee over my porch look at my fountain (sorry)
Can this be used on concrete sidewalks?
Yes. only a sidewalk requires some attention prior to staining. pressure washing and washing with a mild detergent.
No acid wash?
Why use a brush designed for oil based coatings to apply a waterbased product? 🤔🤔🤔
I thought this was This Old House, not HGTV...
A baby poop yellow guy's, really.
Available in any color you choose..... Lets try diarrhea yellow It will look amazing! 😂 Anyways thanks for the tip! Good video.
no way is that stain, it is paint, if you used that on a path or drive it would wear off, if it was stain it would soak into the concrete instead of covering the surface and would not wear off.
Looks more like paint? No?
Umm....
Need to rename the video to “watch a guy paint concrete”
Absolutely do not listen to this video. Not a stain. It's a paint. Sherwin Williams is a paint store and shouldn't try to enter decorative concrete market!
I was watching paint dry... :-\
Boring. Plus repeating everything Kevin says without any explanation. Come on TOH you can do better.
Mark couldn't wash Rogers feet, he has about as much personality as that vomit coloured paint he was using.
