  • This is literally the 1st thing I played on my new piano.
I did it to test levels as it's remarkably louder than the last.

Sick of watching just fingers? Wishing for just the right size spaceship _plus_ fingers? Here:

    Sound is the same though...

This is extraordinary. I post piano content myself and it’s always an honour to see other musicians play different styles of music. Spectacular performance! Keep it up 👍🏾

So, you state this piano is louder. The volume totally opened it up on my end and I feel enveloped in the sound even from your phone. I'll be shocked to hear what it sounds like with a professional microphone (which aren't always very expensive these days but it shows dedication and always has an effect). I was once able to get some decent recordings of my guitar with a Rock Band microphone for the Xbox 360 made hy Logitech. All-in-all, nice piano and congratulations on having the opportunity to have it.

I wasn't sure how it would translate to be honest. It's definitely louder and on my phones speaker it's constantly at the edge of distortion. But then I put headphone on and it's like what you said. Phew 😁
I have a good collection of microphones and matching outboard recording gear. It's just going to take some time to set it up. And I have a "real" job, too
