Watched Dickey Dines and came here by suggestion.... Good song from back then and I'm glad I found it again. Definitely a song I would play when fighting a couple teenagers for messing up my lawn.... 🤣
i heard this last night on MTV2, headbangers ball, as i was falling asleep. I had to get up and write down the title, even tho i was seconds from falling asleep. BADASS SONG
Their live performance in Sydney a week ago was mind blowing-the mosh pit/death circle they enticed is easily the most brutal I have been in. They blew everyone away, and their cover of Sepultura's "Roots, Bloody Roots" was the highlight of the night for me. Imitation is the highest form of flattery, and they're unintentionally imitating some of the greatest metal bands of the last decade. Which is a great thing, 'cos Pantera and Sepultura no longer exist :( (Cavalera Conspiracy doesn't count)
This video deserves more views!! This song is probably the most anger driving piece of music that I have ever heard along with mouth for war by pantera. Really well made. I guess theres no one else to blame but to the marketers who didn't knew how to market this song or this band properly
dude... you need Hatebreed in your life... or Boba Flex.. or Meshuggah.. or Bleeding Through.. there is so much more "Angrier" music out there.. these guys are great don't get me wrong.. but even Himsa pulls more anger out of me emotionally... Throwdown makes me wanna run.. Hatebreed makes me wanna Destroy.. LMAO
@TeamsterLocal282 NYC/Long Island I've always referenced Hatebreed as the "Metalhead's Self Help" band. Make me want to fuck shit up and overcome any obstacle in my life. Special place for bands like them for sure.
Throwdown fuckin owns live. I saw them at the starland ballroom in Sayreville, NJ with Maylene and the sons of disaster, evergreen terrace, and zao. By far the LOUDEST concert Ive ever been to
@@KevinTheMetalhead Nah to me this sounds like Pantera and Groove Metal. Hatebreed also sounds like Pantera and Groove Metal to me. I think Groove Metal is a blend of mid tempo Thrash, Hardcore and Alternative Metal.
love this song!! this song keeps me goin! i'd have to say that this and Hatebreed's 'Destroy Everything' go hand in hand for me :) both these bands have helped me to overcome the world and really stand out from the 'normal' crowd into who God created me to be! find the strength from within cuz it's there! it's all bout choice, thanks guys for bein awesome!!!
I recently got an ibanez rg series for $50 its in good condition its just missing an amp lol but ive tested it on a friends amp and it works perfectly.... i got an awesome deal
same man, just i was in t-bay, not kitchener, the only band from that show i didnt get something from was throwdown, and thats cuz i was out of money before i could, i will get one of their shirts later tho
Best guitars for me now are the Ibanez and the Schecter's. It's true that some Washburn models aren't very comfortable, but this one, the Idol WI-65c (some kind of Les Paul body) is a great axe with an awesome sound (it's Seymour Duncan loaded).
Kindda, i began to think that when i saw the Antibiotic Resistant Metal show, when Johnny interviews with some guys of Throwdown, you should check it out.
Who says you need to be on drugs to make good and powerful music? There's only two things you need: a creative imagination, and a lot of fucking anger! lol One of the greatest fantasy tours ever: Throwdown, Hatebreed, Lamb of God, and Pantera (R.I.P. Dime). Thumbs up if you agree!
around that time, many bands playing some of the most innovative stuff ever written in music,Pantera may not have the most technical or most original riffs, but they wrote solid songs, and those solos were out of this world.pantera has been my favorite band for like ten years, but i will agree that there were bands in the early to mid 90s that completely revolutionized metal with their song writing, testament,at the gates,in flames, etc.those bands were writing stuff that hasnt been heard in the US
Same here, at the Drowning Pool concert June fifth i got knocked down in a mosh pit and was immediately picked up by someone much smaller than myself. Then i was promptly grasped by the throat but the guy was dragged off by two other concert goers. God bless everyone who saved me that night.
most definitely, when i heard a song by these guys i thought it was pantera, then i was like nah, no way this is dime. Then looked and became hooked to them.
Today is my first day of sobriety. This is the first song I am listening to. I need to get back to my roots. wish me luck. (Won't need it)
Good Luck! 😊
Get em
How's it going? Hope you stuck to it.
I hope you are 2 years clean, as I approach 3 myself
You got this!
Watched Dickey Dines and came here by suggestion.... Good song from back then and I'm glad I found it again. Definitely a song I would play when fighting a couple teenagers for messing up my lawn.... 🤣
Dude same here lol hell yeah 🤘
Keeping this alive, still a classic!
you don't need workout when playing this song, you gain muscles by listening only \m/
NEyahhhh!!!
Neck muscles!

It's crazy to think that I saw them live when I was like 18 and now I'm 32 it's still sick to hear Good music never dies
Why crazy? It's normal.
One of the best Straight Edge XXX metal bands out there!!
I love this song because it's motivational and tell you to move forward with life if you're stuck in a situation that you need to be free
what an underrated banger
Dayum, i listened to this at the age of 12 when I played in my first band 2006. Found this old gem again, nostalgia strikes.
Bringing back memories of high school. Love this band! So many goosebumps!
Throwdown needs to make a new album and tour.

17 years ago??? What the hell, I was 14! Feels like bloody yesterday...!
a metal band who not just has a bangin' beat, but also can enunciate well enough for me to understand them . I dig it
Definitely 1 of my favorites from them ! They got that Pantera groove with their own individual style and I love it .
this band will never sell out, they stay true to their fans, you gotta apreciate that
Great band and song. I miss those good old 2 step beats.
Threw down to them years ago. An I will still throwdown to Throwdown any day of the week till this day.
I love Throwdown!! Vendetta is their best album, and this is the best song from that album.. so brutal! Continuing the Pantera legacy in a way.
This is the type of music I grew up on

I remember hearing of these guys years ago and never listened to them. Pretty impressed though! Reminds me a lot of Chimera
This tune’s both my workout/headbanger!!
It took me this many years to realize the drum stick tips are painted red to look like matches. 😮
awesome song! Vocals are epic!
Im still burning 🤘👊🤘
I want to see Throwdown at Download next year.... They deserve it!
Reminds me of a lot of material from the "Far beyond Driven" days. Well done.

Straight edge, true till death
Holy Pantera

Sounds more like hardcore punk/metalcore to me imo
Ninten The Metalhead you can hear some of the Pantera influence though
The albums after this are even worse, this aint even that bad yet lol
@@KevinTheMetalhead Nah to me this sounds like Pantera and Groove Metal. Hatebreed also sounds like Pantera and Groove Metal to me. I think Groove Metal is a blend of mid tempo Thrash, Hardcore and Alternative Metal.

@pillarsofserpents lmao!!! punching and kicking in the air. Angry dancing dude!
one of their best tracks
Burn. Right back to you Bonnie.
Feel the rage.
best core song i ever heard!
Yeah nothing beats a spine-shredding solo to take it out of a massive breakdown.
fricking awesome!
god damn, it's like every song is about punching a grown man in the throat or how to ball up your fist perfectly by holding beef jerky
Pantera and hatebreed had a baby
Nice!
I identify myself with this song with disturbing perfection...
love this song!! this song keeps me goin! i'd have to say that this and Hatebreed's 'Destroy Everything' go hand in hand for me :) both these bands have helped me to overcome the world and really stand out from the 'normal' crowd into who God created me to be! find the strength from within cuz it's there! it's all bout choice, thanks guys for bein awesome!!!

This song is how I managed to break multiple speeding violations within 3 minutes and 15 seconds
