I think to bring the audience back, they are focusing on older games. Would love to see a Heat themed update if we get anymore next year, seeing as Heat got shafted 😔

Heat is still 10x better than Unbound. Can't wait untill they make a new game and step away from the dogshit cartoon artstyle and effects :)
They tried something different, and apparently upset a lot of people in doing so. I’m sure the next NFS (whenever that is) won’t have the effects, and hopefully go back to its routes so all players can enjoy it :)

If other people wanted something different that's on them, but i never saw anyone ask for something different like you claim. Maybe it wasn't even the fans asking for something different but the developers wanting to try something different so they could monetise even more out of their game, cause in the end of the day money is always the reason behind everything.
I think there is honesty a lot of potential with Cop Cars In Holland, There is basically a Audi a6 Avant, Which is technically a RS6. The Dodge Charger is for sure a thing for the future, Same with the Corvette and Camaro But in Dubai, Thats where the real work starts, Lamborghini Aventador as a Cop Car😅

They can spawn infinitely in front of you and they can drop like 10+ spikes and all they have to do is wait for 10 seconds lol they have unlimited nos oh and I did I mention they CAN SPAWN IN FRONT like bruh… AI ok but don’t give real ppl the power to do that bs

it really only depends on the players, if they aren't coordinated then it's kind of a cake walk ngl, I've been playing for a few hours and as long as your driving isn't complete shit you can basically just drive past the cops with no issue. But I still think they needa nerf the cops plus let us use the cop vehicles outside the playlist
You guys wouldn't survive 5 minutes with NFS Rivals in the higher Heat levels if you think this is even remotely tough. And that game was using world record breaking cars to take you down.

Just bought this game, never played nfs besides midnight club on psp, but I really don’t get the hate this game gets? literally only bought it cuz it had a street fighter arcade esq style that I love and the visuals look like you’re playing a race game which is why I would want to play a racing game not a sim of my garage cars without their dust. Nevertheless FREE is FREE and I’ll gladly take a new update the moment I get into the game
The game is mid compared to other NFS titles, like MW and the underground series. Even a modern entry like Heat was a step above Unbound. Unbound doesn't have memorable characters, the campaign was boring, engines don't sound as good, music is dogwater, cops aren't the best either, idk what else, but I think you get the picture. It's not even nostalgia that's telling me this. I actively still play older NFS titles, and I'd much rather prefer to play those than NFSU. But at the end, if it's your preference, more power to you. I'd rather spend $70 elsewhere. It just feels like the game tries too hard to be different by appealing to pop culture.

@@Dude-_-950You don't need a speedpass to play online in general. You just need a PS+ or Xbox subscription to play online. On PC, there is no subscription for multi-player. But you do need the speedpass to play the police cars and customize them in the online cop garage. These cars are unavailable in the single-player garage, though, even if you buy the premium speedpass and earn them. It'll probably show you that you got them, but you can't use them unless you're online and playing in a specific mode... Free roam isn't available for these cars I'm assuming the other rewards like the projections, rims, smoke, and non-cop related cars like the Lotus and the Porsche without the cop decals are playable offline... But other than that, that's about it. Not much for single-player people like myself... And it really sucks too. They could've at least given us the cop light and bullbar customization for cars like the Hellcat, Crown Victoria, and Corvettes. Maybe even the Ford Raptor just for kicks. Like, we can easily do the police decals, and we don't need no pursuit tech in single-player anyway... I'd take it if they put all that in a purchasable dlc even.

You could play the cars from the new update in single-player with only the speedpass, but this time. The police cars are multi-player only. And like I said in the other comment... No, the speedpass isn't required for multi-player access.

NFS Hot Pursuit is a Legend, and im glad they brought it back as a gamemode. Hopefully somehow, theres a Most Wanted gamemode.
