I work with victims of crime, and let me tell you: there is no such thing as a “typical victim” reaction or whatever. No one reacts to trauma the same way because trauma causes a person to fall back on their habits and instincts. Everybody has different habits.
Saying she doesn’t seem like a victim because she reacts differently to a situation (she’s an athlete, so well-disciplined in managing her emotions to get results) shows the investigator has had zero training on how to work with victims. Unfortunately, there are still a lot of people like him in the criminal justice world.

Is it that wrong for a victim of a rape to act confidently and strong not showing the whole world how much scared she is? Is it that wrong to forget that heinous and disturbing moment of your life and live like nothing happened just so that you won’t try to remember that moment? Is is that wrong to act like a strong victim who feels disgusted thinking about that moment but still walks with her head up confidently the next day only to see the rapist get punished by the law? People may feel bad about her getting raped also may seak justice but then what cry for your whole life, ruin your life thinking about that moment, not move on, act weak, always be the one who needs protection? The world needs to change their perspective of thinking not the behaviour of a victim of rape

Ho go's love was such a heart warming kdrama. I cried plenty of times. And laugh-cried and sad cried and it was grand. The thing I loved the most was Ho Go's sincerety. He didn't think much of himself yes, but he was a 💯 sure of who is and what he wants. And at the end of the day that's what sways a woman's heart. Not money or aspiration but a deep sense of knowledge that her man is who he says he is and his love won't ever waiver

People only want to see victims. "Why didn't you abort the child?" but if she did, people would judge her too. I remember there was a kidnapping case in Sweden, the girl managed to run away at 18 years old after being held captive since childhood. She was happy to be free and to live her life, so the public started to shame her, claim she had made the story up etc. bc they expected to see a broken woman, a weak victim, but insted she was looking towards the future with optimism. It's crazy how the public will always doubt women's stories of their suffering no matter how they react or how much proof there is...

He's a villain in the Princess and The Matchmaker too. He's a psychopathic and have that cute suitor but psychotic murderer look down pat. I like the actor though.... he's good in most roles that he chose, sometimes cute, adorable and silly.

As a victim of a couple of related things, I can say, I don't shy away from telling my experience, which makes me a "fake victim" just because I choose (or it's in my nature) not to play the victim card, I am not a victim, but the other person is a perpetrator... I am not sure how to express it. As long as I notice what is happening, the why... is just that the other person is sick, evil or both. Since I haven't had some trauma, even friends (who are no longer friends doubted me.

Every victim has a different way of dealing with their trauma, why is it some ppl think they have to be all weak and scared? Some people want to forget and cover up their wounds by acting strong! This is a really good drama which just gets better and better as it unfolds. Dark at times. Funny at times. Choi Woo Shik is excellent in this and I never understand why he doesn't get more lead roles. He can look young and cute but demonically scary with a flick of his eyes. A great young actor who we need to see more of.

Dang.. watching these scene enough to make me remembered how rage I am to the system that displayed there. Yeah, most of the time, people judges based on what they see on media and twisted into their liking, like those couple at the end.
Crazy is so much scarier than power.
To the victims. Don't stop. Live. You must live your life no matter what. Because if you succumb to that darkness in your mind then that rapist has won even if you sent him/her to jail.

As someone who auffered sexual assault as a kid, this scene felt so satisfying. I wish I had the balls to do something like this back then. Also, that stereotyping of rape victim was such on point! I wanna smack the idiotic investigator so bad.

If it's happened to you and you shut down and you let PTSD take over you can become numb from physical afflictions whether it's something that somebody is under you or even if you're getting medical treatment because you just shut down because you're reliving the trauma in your brain even though it's not occurring and you become numb to everything around you and you just are there but for some people viewing you from the outside it may seem you're strong you've got your shit together and you're not suffering and the inside but you really are you're screaming for help but no one can hear it because you're afraid if you show any sign of weakness around anybody specially a male you're going to be easy picking and so your PTSD takes over and that is how you react and respond after you've been assaulted like that and not everybody PTSD is different and bass off of what has been done to them and they'll react differently than others based off of what they've been through in the trauma because each person is different unfortunately people want to assume that certain cereal type of somebody who's been you know assaulted like that and it's not always the case and then they don't believe the person who has been assaulted and the person who's done it gets off the hook
