Can elements be mineral?
Diamond a mineral? (Cuz it's carbon based so isn't an organic)

Some native elements are classified as minerals....Diamond is a good example as you mentioned.
mineral gold is almost always mixed with silver, platinum and another precious metals, so it's an alloy of multiple metals
yet native metallic mercury is considered a mineral, even though it's liquid and possibly also containing other elements
Isn't diamond made by compressing coal? So why is coal not considered a mineral, but diamond is?

I think #4 needs to be clarified or elaborated on because there are a small number of elements that are considered to be minerals (gold, silver, sulphur, etc.) Being elements, they are by definition not “a specific combination of elements” as stated in #4. Perhaps if you put the word “or” between the two clauses.
Also, the term “chemical formula”, from what I have been able to find on the internet, seems to apply to molecules and compounds, but not elements.

Where can I find more information about the way the specific arrangement of atoms gives rise to the mineral's physical properties such as colour, smell, etc.?

You are not acknowledging the living God which directly made the minerals which you label as inorganic; thus, inorganic is properly understood as minerals which are the direct result of God speaking the world into existence, as opposed to those minerals which have come into being due to secondary causes.
