Somehow I’m not finding the links? But mostly curious about the brown leather (or faux leather) pants you wore for a couple options. Are those from kohls? Didn’t find them on the page. Thanks
Anna, this was such a helpful video. Dressing for holiday parties is a bit different than dressing for the club. The outfit dos and don'ts you highlighted are what my generation was taught early in life. You look great in every outfit! XXOO ❤️
Great advice! I have a charity gala supporting children with cancer in early December. I am already trying to figure out my outfit. I will definitely be using your tips!
Great video, you provided great tips that will help us look our best without a lot of extra effort, such as planning ahead and attention to detail 🌟 The outfits were lovely and affordable ❤️
I had no idea Kohl's has those pretty winter clothes. I'll be checking that out tomorrow! Thanks, Anna. (When you pulled the banana from the bag. LOL!)
Great job as always! Regarding new shoes - keep a few clear bandaids in your purse. You'll be more comfortable if these shoes decide to give you a blister. I usually carry two Tylenol or Ibuprofen pills as well. Just in case 😀
I love your videos and advice. I am so glad I found you! You look great in everything.! I do not love the Kohls website. So much going on. I get frazzeled trying to find the things you wear. It's probably me but I dont love it.
Thank you. I just bought a few pieces with some sparkle and you have given me the confidence that they won't be too much. I bought a dark green sequin short sleeve T that I plan to wear with a dark green faux leather jacket and jeans to go to a casual tree trimming party (and St. Patrick's party in a few months). I bought a Champaign sequin matching tank and cardigan for cocktail parties/dinners (could wear with stretch satin midi slip-skirt or cream trousers). Also bought two chunky shaker-knit loose turtle-neck sweaters in cream and pale gold that each have matching Lurex threads for just a little sparkle. Plan to wear those with jeans, trousers, faux leather pants or a festive plaid skirt for casual concerts, shopping and lunch with friends. Wish cocktail dresses would be comfortable here in Chicago but it's just too cold. I am even planning my Christmas outfit around a leather jacket that I can wear inside because they keep their thermostat around 65F and everyone sits around wearing fuzzy throws with penguins or cartoons that clash with all outfits. Ha-ha...
I love your videos and content, always fun and the time flies by watching them! Please consider changing the shape of your eyebrows at the beginning, at the bridge of your nose❤
This is an A+ video, so much useful info and reminders of things we know, but maybe mommy brain has shoved them to behind the zillion other things to remember! Thanks for the nice array of reasonable dressy clothes. I am halfway into Christmas shopping and anything I can save on while still having something new to wear is eagerly welcomed. ❤️🎄❤️
I purchased and returned the LC dress. The sequins fell off all over the place. I get it that Kohls is a sponsor, but the quality looks cheap. The belt is wrinkly and juvenile. No shade intended toward you, but the overall Kohls line is not the best quality for the money.
I bought it and love it! The fit is perfect. My only two issues are I unfastened the hook in the front without thinking and now can't figure out where it goes and I'll never tie the belt as neatly as it arrived lol
Anna, can you do a video on "How to wear a white button down without looking like wait staff in a restaurant" and "How to style a black sweater dress if you are not going to a funeral" - that would be most appreciated
Great video Anna! That was beyond helpful! I’m looking forward to dressing for this next season. Things have changed since I decided to wear/use my nice things. It has become elevated self care.
Some great items there. My big event this holiday season is going out of the country for 3 weeks. There will be no reason to be more dressed up than tech pants and a clean shirt. 😀
Great video, Anna🙌 right who would want to wear jeans to holidays parties? 😳🤪 its a chance to dress up. Its already not so many occasions to do that. Christmas holidays is the days for that. And i am taking full advantage of that, including little sophisticated glitter😜 Chanel holiday makeup collection, its beautiful, but do have some glitter🤪 Have a blessed day🙏❤️
Ok girl, I am going to see the legendary Aerosmith on the 19th!! Admittedly, I can be slightly neurotic…. I have been obsessing about my outfit for longer than I’m willing to admit. Im going, I’m trying to go, “Steven Tyler style” (I have no idea what his style is called… rocker, hippy, western/country, 70’s…) so how fun & if not now, when!! Yeah, his style is not easy to “copy” -half the time I can’t distinguish what he even has on! I have literally at least 20 pieces, with clothes, accessories, shoes…. And more on its way 🤦♀️. All pieces are cute & I think the style I’m going for… just not all at the same time… My brain normally lives in a state of overdrive & over thinking. We’re way past that stage & have move into complete confusion & frozen. Do you have any advice on how I can start to build an outfit when I have gotten myself so confused & have so many different pieces and I want to wear them all?!
I savoured your video all in one gulp!!! (tee-hee) Ms Anna!!! Lovely! Events? of course! even with family and friends: NO jeans! (ayayaye! too sad to have to mention it, don't you think?!) So kind to do so... Red...lovely! (but..red nails? May I ask why I find it ...too much? If I am wrong, please, let me know). Hope that your event is fabulous ; lots of laughter and beautiful moments to remember...with your love one! Take care and thank you so much for your ideas/guidance! Always a must...to all of us! helene :)))
Anna I bought a beautiful gold slip skirt from zara. What top can I wear with it this Thanksgiving. The matching top I bought is not appropriate for a family dinner. I'm also self conscious of my fupa.
@annareid I adore your channel and your sophisticated but real life classy - ness! I can’t find your picks from your link. Am I doing something wrong? ❤
Love the affordable options but some of these would have me feeling like I was a disco ball. Love the sparkle too with the black. Just enough sparkle and festive feel…just my opinion.
Plus they have sephora in Kohl's where I live so I can get my brush cleaner with face mask on my face and my pajamas because it's five minutes down the street. It's hilarious all the sales people know me, and they don't even look Down On Me. People know me, and usually I'm dressed to the 9. But on those separate occasions when you go to do your make up and your makeup brushes are so dirty, and you have to clean them and your outta make up clean brush cleaner, you have to make sacrifices.
🤔 You said that you shouldn't where demin, but if I had to go an outdoor plant nursery party, I would wear my insulated knee-high demin boots with the perfect heal for height and comfort. I would pair them with a simple knit dress with a neckline (V or scooped) to show party and not let's-get-to-work. A fun organic type purse or natural stone jewelry would be great. 😃
Not sure why the link Anna provided does not have some of the items she modeled. I have seen most of these items inside my local Kohls. Hope you have one near you.
3:05 Love this top. I like the look of pairing a satin top with leather pants. I can't stand the look of ankle boots with any length of skirt or dress. It just looks odd to me. 4:35 LOVE this jumpsuit. Meh, just go commando if you don't want panty lines. 🤣 I've never done crazy makeup for any occasion. Enhanced natural look is always attractive and doesn't make it look like you're trying too hard. 11:02 is just 🤣😂.
Guilty of the jeans with pretty blouse and shoes, perhaps I did offend someone without knowing it. Good to think about this, look for anothe option next time
Test out your shoes is a good one I went to prom and borrowed my shoes from someone and basically the shoes killed my feet and by the time I got there, I took them off and then my dress was too long, so yeah, disaster
Great Video, as always 😊 - but those black sandals you showed in the end, did not look comfortable for you, they did not support under your foot, the was air between part of your sole and the shoe, and you looked like you were wobbling a little. For heels to be comfortable, make sure they support your full sole and that the place where you stand and the weight is, is not to sharp a bend… then you can stand stand / walk a full night…
That’s so interesting that they looked that way! They are actually very comfortable for a 3” heel but as long as it’s a block heel I’m normally good to go.
Any of these outfits I would be overdressed. Even weddings in my corner of the world people wear tank tops and ripped jeans. I would love to be able to dress up.
All the items I’m wearing on the video can be found here: kohls.co/AnnaHolidayPicks scroll all the way down for links! ❤️

@@jmac7266 scroll all the way past the sales and categories etc for links! The brown leather pants are from last year and I can’t find them anymore 😕
@@ANNAREID29 that’s ok, thanks!
I just love your videos so much and find them so helpful! Thank you
Thank you for highlighting “affordable” choices for the ladies. Times are tough right now for a lot of people❤
Love Kohl’s for affordable options! ❤️❤️❤️
100% no joke!
Tip, if you don't have knee high boots, add tights in the same color as the boots to achieve a similar streamlined effect.
Great idea! ❤️❤️❤️
Love the side-by-side styling examples!!! 🎉
Yay glad that was helpful! ❤️❤️❤️
loved the banana!! 🤣
Lol thanks! 🤣🤣
Anna, this was such a helpful video. Dressing for holiday parties is a bit different than dressing for the club. The outfit dos and don'ts you highlighted are what my generation was taught early in life. You look great in every outfit! XXOO ❤️
Thank you, Pat! I feel like there are some rules that will never date. Like dressing right for the occasion ❤️
@@ANNAREID29 Amen! 🥰
Wow, those sequined pants looked AMAZING with the black top and blazer!
So good right?! Agreed. I’m in love with the pants. ❤️❤️
I agree!
That color on you is A+++ 😊
Thank you! ❤️❤️
Great advice! I have a charity gala supporting children with cancer in early December. I am already trying to figure out my outfit. I will definitely be using your tips!
Nice!! I’m sure you will look beautiful especially since you’re planning early! ❤️❤️
Yay, Kohls! Finally seeing outfits from an affordable store that is accessible to most folks.
The banana 🍌??? OMG so funny! the sequin pants with the sweater would be perfect for your upcoming party. 🥂🎄
Great video, you provided great tips that will help us look our best without a lot of extra effort, such as planning ahead and attention to detail 🌟 The outfits were lovely and affordable ❤️
Glad you like this one!! Thank you! ❤️❤️❤️
Discernment! So important. Some folks were not raised with it.
Right?! I’d be ok if things got a bit more fancy 😄
Lol the banana! Great video, great affordable ideas! Thanks!
I had no idea Kohl's has those pretty winter clothes. I'll be checking that out tomorrow! Thanks, Anna.

When you pulled the banana out of the bag 😂😂😂
Hahaha 🤣🤣🤣
You are my absolute favorite! Thank you so much for your videos!!
❤❤❤Love your channel! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😁

When you pulled the banana out of the bag! 😂😂😂
The banana in the purse was hilarious!!! 😂😂😂 Thanks for the entertaining and informative video!
Yes, you definitely don’t need to bring a banana! 😂 Nothing planned yet but love to dress up when I get the opportunity.
🤣🤣🤣
Great video, Anna! 😊
Thank you, Serena! ❤️❤️❤️
Anna you’re the best! I just love your take on fashion, with a twist of humor! Thank you for all the pretty selections at Kohl’s for the holidays🥰

I just ordered the black sequin dress for my Christmas charity luncheon! Hope it fits!! Thanks, Anna! All good tips and reminders 🎄🎄🎄
These videos are so helpful. Every time I go out, I always get compliments by guys at that 😊
Colors and textures matter to elevate a basic outfit.
That wine color jumpsuit looks awesome on you.
Thank you! ❤️❤️❤️
Going to Kohl’s tomorrow. Thanks Anna.
Wow that burgundy top with the brown pants is such a beautiful combination. Thank you for the inspo.
Yes! Where can we buy the brown leather pants?
Those pants are amazing but I bought them last year and now out of stock! Brown and burgundy looks so good together 😍
Not me with my Herve Leger figure hugging dress, Louboutin shoes and glued on lash strips as a wedding guest this fall😅
just found it - plum top! many thanks!!!
Thank you Anna. So many beautiful outfits.
Love your banana 😂 whole video is great, again, thank you!

Do you think tights worn with the short boots and midi skirt might work? It gets cold in Illinois, so tights with skirts is a good thing…
Great video! Got the inspo, for sure. All the outfits were very flattering on you. Kohl's has the goods this season!

A timely video for the coming holiday season!
A trick for shoes - use mini-pads to cushion your feet. The mini pads can be cut to customize shoes.
Such a lovely video ❤ thank you Anna
Thank you, Rosita! ❤️❤️❤️
Great video! Just picked up those NW boots. They are so comfortable and pretty!
Extremely helpful!!! Thank you!
I never liked short booties with any dress. Always seemed off balance to me.
Right?! It just looks weird now 😄

They are from last year and sold out now 🙈 they are so great tho! ❤️❤️
Love the black sandals but cannot find them????

What if your midi skirt has a slit on the side (or front)…would tall boots look ok with that?
I want to know what you wore to the event?
usually really like your videos. but could not find the cute bugundy top you had on at Kohls
Anna I bought a beautiful gold slip skirt from zara. What top can I wear with it this Thanksgiving. The matching top I bought is not appropriate for a family dinner. I'm also self conscious of my fupa.

I love that Sephora is in kohls! For some reason I’m less intimidated by it being in there rather than the mall 😄🤣
@ANNAREID29 awe just go in and play around with everything, don't be shy. That's their concept there. That's Why I prefer them over Ulta
Where did you get that necklace?
Outside! You better get some non-stinky mosquito spray. Those buggers are still out down here.
Lol yes they are. Luckily there are a lot of plants that steer them away! ❤️

A plant. Nursery. Party.
Sounds like the perfect venue for denim.

Ha, and no on the pajama pants- unless they're silk or classy/not patterned.

I remember a time when you NEVER wore brown shoes woth black pants and vice versa..... is it still the case for men?
Where are the links for the outfits mentioned in the video?
They are here! kohls.co/AnnaHolidayPicks
Scroll all the way down to see the items I’m wesring
I'm way too fat for all of these outfits but it's fun to watch the video anyway.
Can you post a link to the top you wear in every video?
I think your kohls link just goes to the main page.
Here is the link and scroll all the way down for the items! ❤️ kohls.co/AnnaHolidayPicks
Test out your shoes is a good one I went to prom and borrowed my shoes from someone and basically the shoes killed my feet and by the time I got there, I took them off and then my dress was too long, so yeah, disaster
That’s the worst! I think all of us have experienced that! ❤️❤️❤️
I wish I could find a dress my legs and boobs look good in 😂. Thanks for the ideas! Headed to kohls ❤
And I wouldn't wear the 2 as a set you look like you're sixty years old. But the pants look awesome with the sweater!
I bought the off white chunky sweater. The quality is poor. 😞
Well, it is 100% polyester. So that makes sense.
Awe man that burgundy jumper is not cute. It's hard to shop at Kohl's. Though you can get good basics there good staples for your closet

@ANNAREID29 where did you get those ? I thought they were the perfect rise toe to heel angle, and I thought they might work for my size 10s as well.🙏
I hope men watch your video. Wearing jeans to any party is not right.
Any of these outfits I would be overdressed. Even weddings in my corner of the world people wear tank tops and ripped jeans.
I would love to be able to dress up.
