I realize this is an older video, but peonies never go out of style! And I'm grateful that you allow us to follow every stroke. Thank you.
De toute beauté ! Merci beaucoup 🌸🇫🇷
This is one of my favorite flower painting I've done. Learned so much doing this.
Angela all your paintings are so beautiful . You have encouraged me to paint because you teach so well. .. You and Mark work good together. Thank you for all the work you do to bring your videos to us.
Thank you for taking the time to paint this beautiful flower so I can try it. I have truly enjoyed it. Your husband was a great help also. I'm a beginner but feel I can do it. God bless I'm from Greenville, TN. Btw
This is absolutely stunning. Thank you, Angela for spending your Saturday teaching us! And...thank you Mark for your video expertise so we can watch the tutorials!
I watch all Angela's tutorials. I really enjoy them. I play them while I paint even though I'm usually painting something else. I watch her live when I can. I subscribe.
Not only did I love this video, but also you and your husband are the greatest couple! Goals. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so very much for making this video.. For one thing, it's so relaxing.. And the painting is very beautiful! It's free and I'm so grateful for that! Being tied down here with caring for mom and being visually impaired, not able to see to drive, I don't get out much. One thing I've learned since January this year, when I started playing around with acrylic pour, is that I'm in such a rush in my life in every way. I have always loved painting but have no training. I've not spent very much time painting in my life because it's hard to paint a picture in 10 minutes😂😂😂😂.. So I'm learning to slow down.... Because it's worth it to take the time to create beautiful art and it teaches me patience too. So thank you so much!
That is awesome. I am so glad to help. God bless!
Hello Angela. I accidentally found you just recently and I have so enjoyed watching you paint. All your videos are a blast and you make it look so very accessible for anyone.
Thank you so much! That makes my day.
I'm so so sorry that I missed you live w/this painting..its beautiful !!!
Thank you so much. Really enjoyed this video.
We love Angela and Mark!
Most beautiful flower painting ever! Love the water droplets too.
Angela your artwork is lovely. I appreciate all your tutorials to guide beginners and even a somewhat seasoned artist as myself to explore other techniques to keep learning. Bravo for all your efforts to share your talents. I am in the process of painting a peony for the upcoming Peony Fest here in Oshawa Ontario, Canada in June 2019. I was encouraged to enter an acrylic painting by a fellow artist who is known for her beautiful watercolor pieces and was chosen to represent the fest with one of her gorgeous paintings. I do not anticipate to win by any means as this venue is not my forte, however it will be a great experience for me...but that being said, I have been an avid gardener for many years and have been fortunate to enjoy the beauty of my own flower show every year. Thank you, for this glorious peony that you've shared for all to paint.
This is an Art of Beauty.
Thank you for this wonderfully amazing tutorial. You are truly gifted and inspiring. This is just stunning. My next project.!
I've done the white rose and the poppy and my friends loved them.
Ohh la la this is LOVELY! Thank you for this bit of gorgeousness 🌺
Angela thanks for sharing all ur painting tutorial, they r very clear and amazing too
The most beautiful flower I've seen painted!
Angela and Mark Rocks!
Absolutely best videos for painting. Thank you for sharing. Enjoyed the interaction of the husband and wife team. Beautiful job.👍
This is for the folks who give a thumbs down-go away.
Cassandra Wood I agree! I'll never understand why people do that, if you don't like painting in general then don't watch the videos, if you don't like flower paintings then this one might not be for you - just watch a different one. If you don't like the color pink, pick any color that makes you happy, after all, you are the artist of your canvas. No one who is into art would thumb down another artists work, we all know better than to do that - everyone is on their own journey, that is to be respected.
The lights and cameras are great quality and Angela and her husband are very entertaining. I just don't for the life of me understand the thumbs down....I wish they'd get a life!
***I thought this was a great lesson and a stunning picture!!! Thank you for sharing your talent with us and for doing it in such an entertaining way!!
Cassandra Wood ...Thank you....just go away...don't look...keep scrolling....we love this...we love Angela!
Brilliant painting Angela. The morons who put thumbs down are not painters, they are idiots that come on to a live feed to just put thumbs down because they think it's cool. I don't! It's not cool. They are complete morons. I am sorry but they are. This is a fantastic painting of a Peony. So take no notice of the thumbs down, they mean nothing compared to the 777 and more thumbs up. Art hugs to you and Mark. xx
The clarity in your camera's are phenominal. Really nice..
Just subscribed, found this last night about 3am and love watching you.

Whats used so the paints don't dry quickly xxx much love x
Спасибо огромное, очень подробно, не спеша , очень красиво.
Angela, Thank for your videos they are wonderful i learn a lot from them. now where can i find a copy of the Peony blossom?
Thanks! It might be on my Instagram or Facebook. The finished paintings usually get posted there.
Amei! Lindo!
Hi there. I know that this is an older video but I’m enjoying the process. I’d like to understand how the paint is not drying on the palette. What kind of paint are you using? I use Liquitex and Golden but my paints will not allow me to blend this long. Your palette is staying wet without much spraying down.
I use golden heavy body mostly. Watch how you pull paint from the puddles. It introduces air so only pull from one side and leave the rest undisturbed. Also no fans in the room and spray often with water. Be sure to add water to your mixes on the palette too.
@@thankfulart Angela, thank you so much for replying. Heavy body, got it. I have some golden paints but need to check if it’s heavy body. This is very helpful. I have a van studio, and just recently started with acrylic. It’s going to be a bit challenging with summer coming but I’ll have that spray bottle filled to the brim
😆👌🏻so excited to try this. Love your art ♥️
Beautiful peony Angela!! Love it!! Great show as usual!!
But do NOT believe in Mark LOL I did so NOT say I am in my 20's LOL I was honest and so were Kim!! We said our real ages! Mark shame on you! lol
Angela loved watching this. How can I get the pattern. Did not see a link
www.patreon.com/angelafineart has my traceables :) So glad you enjoyed it!
Excellent
Love your Peony Angela you make it look so easy. Do you ever paint flowers on larger pieces of canvas i.e. 3'x3'? If yes, do you have a u tube for that?
Hi, Angela. My name is Patricia (Patti) and I just want you to know that I love your drawings and paintings. I am a self taught artist however, I do not know how to sketch well and I can't think of what to draw and paint without copying someone else's art. Am I wrong for this? I don't have much of an imagination, but I can paint just about anything I see. Any ideas or suggestions for me. I am almost at the point of being afraid of painting anything at all. HELP. :))
I would recommend putting some time into learning to draw. It will open up a whole new world of freedom in your art. But even without drawing if you can see something and copy it, adapting a photo would be something you might try. You can use photo editing apps to take a photo and make it look stylized like art. Then you can use it to make your painting. That way you are not copying someone else but you have a good reference to get you started. And you can trace the image if you don't want to draw it. Hope that helps! I started out copying decorative painting books so you can totally get there. :)
Wow
Pam from New Zealand
Very fine totorial with a written list and links - so helpfull - do you put a link to the feather totorial ?
How do you keep your paints from drying out working so long as you are???
I just joined Patreon and one of the reasons was for traceables. Where do I get the traceable for this peony. Thank you for what you guys do.
Hi Angela, I'm new to acrylic painting and just recently (6 months ago) started watching your videos. I just love your work and have learned a lot from watching you work! Because this is an old video, you may not see this, but just in case, I have a question about the gessoed hardboard such as what you work on with this video. I tried painting on the Ampersand museum series recently and found it to be very slick so that the paint would just slide around. I even gessoed it twice again hoping that would help. The painting turned out well, but too much longer because I had to paint in so many layers. You don't seem to have any issues with this. Am I doing something wrong? Has anyone else had this problem with store bought gessoed hardboard?
