Why has there never been a movie about Louis Prima?? I grew up a black kid in the south in the 1980s and we had Louis Prima records and tapes. Louis Prima would be a great biopic.

I think that's what Louis Prima: The Wildest might be about. I've been wanting to watch it.
I did find this on CZcams - czcams.com/video/JraXKTzDMyg/video.html

@@daphne201239 I'd like to see a Louis Prima biopic as a limited streaming series. Louis Prima and Keely Smith were unofficially part of the Ratpack. So that would interest a streamer like Netflix, Apple, Hulu, or Amazon.

I met Lena when she was performing on the Grand Princess in January, 1999. She was extremely nice.

I saw Lena perform a tribute show to her dad 15 years ago at Summerfest in Milwaukee. She's quite a talent herself...singing and dancing!

My mom who was a vaudeville dancer originally, took me to see Louis and Keeley at the Coconut Grove in LA when I was about 16 maybe 1962. I went up to stage left to get Keeleys autograph. She was so sweet and said “I’ll probably get in trouble for this but… “I just saw the interview with Keeley about how she worked with Sammy Davis junior, senior & will Mastin trio, which my mom did also but I didn’t know that at the time. I wish I could find the picture from that night at the Coconut Grove

Louis had more electricity and charisma than just about everyone -- except, perhaps, Elvis. His work with Keely was the best, in my humble opinion. She was so beautiful, funny, and talented.

Americans come in flavors, which is good as long as the sauce binds us all together.
