I've been looking at the LCE Street Header for a stock 2009 4wd Access Cab with hard shell canopy, as I've needed to drop down to 4th gear when climbing passes over the Cascades. During our fourth season, it's not much of a problem as interstate speed limits are reduced in sections. Four seasons in north Idaho and western Montana: early winter, mid-winter, late winter, and road construction. Thanks for adding this to my near future project list. This was Dad's last truck, which he spec'd out the way I would have, so I bought it when he was ready to sell it, and I've added 8k miles in the past 16 months, sound deadening in the doors, hood lift, and... My kids will likely get this truck so the LCE header will be appreciated, as we've noticed that most vehicles in HS parking lots are not customized, as was our old habit. Thanks again! Update: Ordered this Part No. plus the recommended Header Stud Set PN 1045028 in December 2022, and need to do some additional prep before the install (dropping the All-Pro front skid plate, cleaning and polishing the air injection system and avoiding smearing the NHOU frame treatment, plus warmer weather will help in the tight garage bay). Part # 1042025 Pro Flow Exhaust System will likely be ordered in 2023. The high quality of engineering and craftsmanship that is equaled by the packaging and shipping sold me on L.C. What are the main differences between the long tube and the street header?
The long tube headers will be slight increase in power and torque over the street header.
will the headers and the manifold spoacers work with eacheother ?
Shouldn't have any issues.
what are the horsepower and tourqe gains seen with this setup?
Generally you will see a 10% - 15% increase in hp and torque.
Are these available for the 2018 2.7 Dual VVT-I versions?
