    Great advice. I started back in 2013 using Ayurvedic herbs, I got into Henna Sooq, Curly Proverb and one other. I came away from it in 2019 when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I was depressed and didn’t have the desire to mix things together, then I lost my hair all over. I am now coming back to it, still don’t have the desire to mix but I will do basic minimal mixtures. Love Fenugreek, Alma, Cassia and Aloe. Henna Sooq has some great herbs and mixtures of powders and pre made mask. I am glad Curly came out with her elixir and powders. Need to make my hair healthy again and Ayurvedic is the way for me. Remember everybody do you with clean healthy hair and be happy!

    Love the video!!!! I am all into Ayurveda since i went natural in 2018. I think it has contributed significantly to my hair health, fullness and length. I am always interested in learning new recipes so bring the videos on girl. I did a year of trying out herbs on my hair and so far i have a few staples and combos. I love fenugreek, curry leaves, burdock root, bhringraj, brahmi, marshmallow root and hibiscus. I like Amla but its very harsh on my hair so i mix it with bhringraj to soften the effects. Marshmallow root and hibiscus are great together. Henna i am still testing out but i did a full mask this week and it was not bad at all. I will try it out again to see if i like it as a full mask or i will stick to the glosses. I also like hair teas so ingredients such as nettle, green and black tea, horsetail, rosemary, cloves (recent addition) calendula and chamomile are staples. Most often i use teas as a hair & scalp spritz about three days a week. I have done oils but i am not at the point where i have found a combo oil blend that's a staple.

      @@tmt436 Me too, it's very exciting getting new ingredients to play with 🙌🏾Oooo they would make great hair teas/rinse and depending on the form, you can make an oil or some type of hair mask!

    I never thought about porosity when using Ayurvedic herbs. Don’t see many videos on the topic. I was very high porosity but now normal porosity or in between. Not quite low

      What exactly is a hair gloss and what is it used for? Is this like a prepoo or can it be used as a deep conditioner as well?

    • @uhleaseayah
      @uhleaseayah Před 2 lety +1

      You also mentioned that you use hair teas with your clay masks, did you mean you use the tea anytime your wash day has a clay mask? Or do you mix them as well?

    • @BelleinBloom
      @BelleinBloom  Před 2 lety +2

      @@uhleaseayah A hair gloss is more like a prepoo and can be applied before shampooing, at least the ones I’ve used before were described that way

    • @BelleinBloom
      @BelleinBloom  Před 2 lety +3

      @@uhleaseayah I would make the clay mask with a hair tea instead of using plain water to combine everything. It’s a good way to get additional herbs into a recipe and if there’s any tea leftover, you can use it as a final hair rinse or refresher spray ☺️

    • @BelleinBloom
      @BelleinBloom  Před 2 lety +3

      Thank you so much for watching 💕I think you can but I would try any Ayurvedic recipes or products on a small section of your hair first, just to see how it’ll react before going all over. Following up with a moisturizing mask or DC is also great, especially since you have colored hair now 🤗
