    I’ve been riding since the 80’s. I can’t think of a better introduction to motorcycles, and will be picking up a pair of them for my sons. I’m excited to ride with them, and can’t wait to see them ripping around town together!

    The truth is the TU250X is all the bike anyone needs for city driving. And it is a good looking motorcycle. I don't like the newer bikes that look like an insect in the rear (they even have a stinger sticking out these days) and many on the newer bikes have a beak up front like some sort of bird. The Suzuki TU250 X looks like a motorcycle, and I like that.
    Love the looks of the flyscreen, mirrors and the pipe. Not to mention the sound from that pipe, it is music to ones ear. Stay safe and enjoy the ride.

      I totally agree with you. For city driving, one does not need a bike with a bigger engine. As for the sound its muffler makes--man, it makes me smile ever time I turn on the engine. Now winter has come to NYC, so I cannot wait for those rare sunny days to take it out on the road again. Thanks again for vising and your feedback. Much appreciated!

    Very enjoyable review! I also have a TU250X (2016 - jet black)

      Thanks, Gregory. You have a 2016 in black? Very cool. For some reason, I had a hard time finding a 2016 here in NYC. I got really lucky.

      Me too, jet black. So beautiful.. Had it less than a week teaching my wife how to ride.. ride #1 the end of the clutch handle snapped in a tip over and the tank is dented. Training bikes need to be rubber.

    You've got the best color on the TUX. Just need to remove that warning sticker from your tank. Also, don't underestimate the usefulness of a fuel gauge and gear indicator... you will appreciate them if you ever get a bike that has them. Good video z thanks for sharing.

      Hi Sqeptick. I totally agree with you about the color. It's one aspect of the bike that made me fall in love with it. I owned previous bikes--well, Italian scooters, really--with fuel gauges on them, so I understand what you mean. As for the gear indicator, I'll take your word for it. Thanks for dropping by.

    I really enjoy riding my TU250X. To me it is like jumping on a bicycle where everything feels natural. It is a very easy bike to handle and ride. I agree with the gear indicator. Even the bikes I have gear indicators for I ride by feel and naturally just learn what gear I am in.

    What are your gloves and jacket, and where are they from?

    • @ReluctantBikerNYC
      @ReluctantBikerNYC  Před 4 lety +2

      Hi Mike. My gloves are Street & Steel, and they are truly fantastic. Best gloves ever. They run for about $40. You can find them in any of the Cycle Gear stores. My jacket is a Harley: "Harley-Davidson® Mens Utilitarian Textile/Mesh Waterproof Riding Black Functional Jacket." Love it. Had it for about five years, and it still looks like new. Hope this helped.
