Country Lanes and Come On Over were my first exposure to Robin's voice as a lead vocal. I was 12 in 1976 when I bought my first album Main Course. Love those songs as well as all his lead vocal tracks.

When Robin half-joked about people in NZ waiting for another earthquake was a bit freaky. Sounds like this was recorded a month or so after 4th Sept 2010 and before the devastating aftershock in Feb 2011 that killed 185 people and destroyed Christchurch city. He must have been very concerned after hearing about that; he had a big heart for people ❤️ Thank you for uploading this, from Chch NZ.
At that time he was reluctant to have his ailment looked at. I am sure it would have been a more favourable outcome. He did have a big heart for people during a disaster.🍂
The thing is, sadly, cancer don't care. A person can be in the best of health or the poorest of health. They can be a sweetheart like Robin, or they can be a complete asshole. They can be rich and famous or a poor nobody. Cancer does not discriminate. (Sighs) It's 2024. I still can't believe that Robin is actually dead. I just can't bring myself to accept that fact. In my mind, I'll say something like, "Oh...Robin's just on a really, really, REALLY long, mondo vacation. He'll be back again someday." Even though I know he's not coming back., no matter how many times I beg him to come back. Robin lives inside of my mind and heart. Oh Robin. Why did you have to die and break my heart like this? Why? 💔😭

Poor darling Robin was trying his best to be healthy and eat healthier,(No meat, in fact.)
