'Everything' is the 3rd single from my latest album, 'Secrets Nobody Keeps'.
It's a twisted love song. It's about obsession. It's the song I had the most comments about from the album, which really surprised me, just because it's so prog - nearly ten minutes long, two time signatures, shreddy guitar solo, even cameo appearances from other songs...
It's played on my guitar Wilma, through a Trace Acoustic TA200 amp, designed in Britain by amp-genius Paul Stevens. Massive thanks to Tom Allen of Trace Acoustic for producing this video.

My favorite part about this video, and all of Jon's videos is the fact that you can visually see the thousands of hours he spent practicing on his guitar. The part of the process people don't usually get to see.

How on Earth were you able to develop this? Absolutely stunning. I have been following music since I saw The Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show and I can tell you I've never seen anything like what you can do. I've seen a lot of the tap and scratch guys but nobody with your sense of timing, use of space, and You can sing too???? Man, what spaceship did YOU get off of???
He is currently one of the greatest musicians of this age. The media needs to turn its attention from its usual crap and acknowledge this true musicianship.

I love every bit of this 9:57 minutes, but mostly the end, when Jon blinked, as he'd just left his very own dimension, which he created within the music. It looked like pure evolving by self awareness.

Wild style.. technical as hell. The self percussion makes this so dynamic. I have never seen a player pound out a funky ass beat on an acoustic and pull it off as well as Jon..

I've seldom seen a man so in touch with his guitar. Like many of the veiwers I am in my mid-sixties, I grew up during the birth of pop and rock of the 1960's and always followed new music as it presented itself, but this surpasses anything I have seen for a very long time. He deserves international recognition.
I just heard your last song passion flower and was a little over the fence about your FX to get octaves, but listening to this you do have a voice my friend. And you are a great songwriter, and even more so a fantastic song writer. So props to you friend, one musician to another you are what I strive to be and listening to your songs inspires me to play.

Seeing Jon live is still one of my favorite experiences! At first I was wondering why he was on stage in socks, but him and Don put on the most amazing show I've ever been to in my life!!!

i absolutely love the 0:31 when he taps the body of the guitar and makes the low E just perfectly blend in with the entire mix of that part and adds that little sweet spice of just doing a quick hammer on / pull off on that note while it was still ringing. it's brilliant

For all of those who say that Jon isn't the F@$#ing shit, then you're all deaf! I've been studying jazz for three years and going and this is completely overwhelming! the way he dois it all... he's never seen a guitar as a normal strings instrument! Jon saw the guitar as a "everything" instrument from the beggining! Way to go Jon!
