People outside Korea know Blackpink but Twice is the other major girl group in Kpop and Nayeon is the main focus of the nine-member group. She's also one of the most popular Kpop performers.
Yeah I love BlackPink but Twice that group. Nayeon is actually my bias but then there's Jihyo idk sometimes. Both of their vocals are amazing. I like Nayeon as the lead vocalist in their group songs but I think Jihyos voice has just a bit more power and I personally like her solo project "Zone" the most. Just more my vibe but this particular song by Nayeon was 🔥.
@@Zaysj89 I think a lot of people don't realize Jihyo spent 10 years as a trainee. It would have been interesting if they had let that original girl group (including Nayeon, Jihyo, Jeongyeon and Sana) debut.
@@jamesrawlins735 yeah makes a huge difference. Twice as a group is also a great example of needing time to develop, their development over 9 years since their debut has been incredible. They are really "Ready to Be" now. I think another great example is Natty from Kiss of Life who actually trained with Twice but also trained for about 10 years and she's doing her thing right now. Her solo projects "Sugarcoat" and "Taxi Blur" with Jay Park are 🔥. Her voice got some soul similar to Jihyo. It's that extra time to train and develop that confidence in your own style.

this M/V was definitely inspired by early 2000's especially with the Beyoncé- Crazy in Love instrumental sample in the chorus and Amerie-One Thing adlibs in the dance break.
I also think the video calls back to Britney in the Baby One more time, and the dance break also reminds me of one of Christina's dance breaks in an mv.
Also jlo love dont cost a thing for the dance break visual and instrumental.
It’s basically Na- Yeon (yun) but yea she’s so fire. She has another song called Pop, it was her solo debut song, she’s part of a big girl group called Twice. She’s honestly one of the best soloists in kpop
