why did you need to route that cable from the fuse box to the unit? it did not work without that?

Did you ever get the reverse camera working? I have everything connected but when i press camera nothing shows.

I mean, you're not supposed to click on camera.
It is supposed to come up when you put reverse.
The RCA cable have a little red cable attached to it, you need to wire it to the "reverse" cable on the wiring harness of the headunit.
And on the rear of the car you need to put that red wire connected to the reverse lights, so when you put reverse, the camera turns on and send a signal to the head unit.
