I find it so interesting that this video is not RAGING with views because my goodness these curls are EVERYTHINGGGG!!! I can't wait to try these this week! One issue I run into with the perm rods is that they don't stay tight at the root if that makes sense? Once I snap them at my root it doesn't stay tight and it makes my curls look funny when I take them out.. any advice?
thank you so much! thank you for watching! hmmmmm... my advice would be to roll from the bottom of the loc to the root. As you get closer to the roots, roll your wrist with perm rod in hand as you roll upward... it gets pretty tight to the root for me. Sometimes too tight ;) ... my scalp is tender to the touch (I'm a perfectionist). I hope it works for you!
Gorgeous! Just did my first set of curls on 2 year old locs. I only slide the rods out. Will allow them to drop naturally for a wedding I’m in this weekend. Like you I plan to make this my go to look for a while as I allow them to mature.

Hey,of course i came here for the perm rod curls,very nice,but does the castor oil itch your scalp,it itch mine,and I really need to use it on the top of my scalp
J Variety the first couple night I do sleep oddly like the Craig's sister from the movie "Friday" ... 😂😂 but thereafter I sleep normally . My curls don't really drop until the second week.
J Variety i don't use a bonnet or any scarves or do a pineapple...... I know, I know yikes right? My Locs honestly stay intact and bouncy for a little long time
