New CZcams profile picture to celebrate 1 year of CZcams content with my favorite archetype in all of Yu-Gi-Oh!: Lunalights piloted by the amazing Serena/Celina. I made my CZcams with the intention of having fun learning how to edit and playing my favorite deck to show the meta decks that we can climb regardless of their strength but so many of you all have gravitated to picking up the deck and its many variants and that's amazing. I hope to continue putting out awesome inspirational content for you all.
Edited the decklist to throw Infinite Impermanence back into the deck because Nibiru was not coming up at all in my duels and it's so nice to negate Snake-Eyes cards. The climb from M3 to M1 was not that bad to be honest. No stun, no degen strats, just a bunch of Snake-Eyes which I dominated on my way to M1. I feel like it's a very winnable matchup especially with good hands, not even necessarily needing Imperm or Droplet, it's just about taking advantage of the Snake-Eyes players inexperience of the matchup and the toolbox ED to really get the most out of the Lunalight cards. Excited for the new decks and how we'll stack up against Unchained specifically. Hope you all enjoy the video!

PS: In the Floo duel, pitching Cat Dancer to set up for Panther Dancer was the correct play. I was just being a creature of habit by sending Panther Dancer. Not that it mattered.

Man, I felt that 10:43 deep into my soul... That emotional damage aside, Ig the only positive thing about tier0 snakes is that with lunalight you're mostly gonna win, cuz good going 2nd decks are that strong. Keep up the grind!
Nibiru really does mess up this deck's lines sometimes :/ but I felt it coming so I kept Marten eff in the back pocket.
Snake-Eyes is strong but predictable with their board, just need to play around handtraps is the biggest thing imo. Thanks for watching!

That valantz game was satisfying. Love when people combo for 5 minutes just to scoop after their floodgate board fails them. (Also I find it adorable Serena has a ladies and gentlemen voiceline)
I might be wrong, but it seems as if it's an homage to Entertainer (yknow, yuya with odd eyes)
I can't stand that damn combo deck that's just Pachy Turbo, so lame to watch so I love watching them lose. Also love her Ladies & Gentlemen line, so fun.
@@frostdracony It is not lol good friend though. It's just a voiceline I love of Serena/Celina's from the anime during her duel with Yugo which is the duel that made me become a Lunalight player so was happy to have Duel Links add it to her voicelines.

I don't think I have the patience to play a go 2nd deck in the Snake Eyes meta. These people take so goddamn long to do their one combo. It feels like they need to stop to check their flowchart every step of the way.

Don't worry, I usually go make a sandwich while they combo if I have no handtraps, maybe they drool on themselves a little and mess up or need the flowchart (jk but maybe...)

Apologies, just now getting to this. Appreciate the love, always enjoy hearing good things.
It's hard to make a combo video for the deck especially in going second variants as it is not a linear deck at all and doesn't have focused combos. The same applies to the deck's best variant Lunalight Tearlaments. I'm trying to figure out how to make a guide but it wouldn't be geared towards combos specifically. But your main thing is you need to see Chick and Perfume or Chick and Tiger.

I tried to get to master rank once until I got cheated out of my diamond promotion match by lag switch or whatever some cheaters do to make it seem like you’re the one that had an connection error. Gave up after that. Anyways keep up the great content!

@@royalvandyke I 100% agree, I love playing Red Eyes and I mostly stick to playing different variations of the archetype. Currently taking a break from MD but once REs gets its last support I’ll try again. Also waiting for Flame Swordsman support but that’s gonna be a minute. Also wanted to say that Serena is my all time favorite Arc-V character 😁
@@foolycoolydood Red-Eyes is one of the coolest looking boss monsters from the DM days, sad that it's just nigh unplayable because Konami has no idea what they want to do with the deck.
Serena is also my favorite but I'm like heavily biased lmao.
@@royalvandyke Yeah REs is definitely in a sad state right now and I wish Konami would take the time to fix it but I guess it’s not too popular for them to care all that much. It is what it is but I’ll still play it cause I just love the archetype so much. Here’s hoping I guess.

Unsure if that really matters since he probably couldn’t extend further (no Charmer since I didn’t use Ash and he would need Birch in hand already for the special summon as he should not have access to Birch). Not THAT familiar with the SE monsters but who knows.

@@royalvandyke He could add and summon poplar, then make promethean with diabellstar + linkuriboh + poplar. If he summoned SE ash with promethean's effect, he could extend further movement with SE ash + flamberge in spell zone.

The deck is prone to bricking because it can draw hards that do nothing without other cards: Zephyros, Poly, Lunalight Fusion, Yellow Marten, Handtraps, etc. Just the nature of this deck in a game where Maxx C is rampant.
