  • A look at the seating, features, use and some thoughts, good and bad.
I forgot to mention the seat right underneath the control panel. This is used as a step to get in and out plus it can be used as a seat to cool you down as it is much higher up than the other seats.

I have an Intex Purspa (Inflatable) and to be honest for the money which I think was about £500 its been really good its on its last legs now as we have been using almost daily for the last 2 1/2 years. Its now got a small air leak so we have to top up the air every so often, and also the temp display no longer works, but it wasn't really designed to be left out constantly.
We are now going to have a look at buying one of these spas as we only bought the intex to see how we get on with having a spa, and now we know we can keep it clean and understand about all the chemicals then we are going to progress to a "proper" one! good video btw
My mother has a proper hot tub shes had it for about 11 years and its still going strong but the lid will eventually get water logged and very heavy so they had to replace that at a cost of £500 and they have recently replaced the head rests as they were starting to perish.

Correct on the cover lifter fitment, it would still however just touch the rear of the spa. When you remove the cover incidentally just lift the heat seal before you pull on the handle, lifting the heat vacuum seal will decrease the pressure you put on the cover handle as you break the vacuum.
I would suggest given the date of this video you probably replace your Ozone unit fairly soon, certainly this year.
Amazing feedback on how it has helped your sleep and improved your back issues!

Hi, I have had same Wellis Venus for 3 years. I just found out that the water level is critical. If the water level rises up to the level of the air diverters (on/off), and the diverter is open, water leaks inside the cover. It can be heard pretty easily that the water drops inside of the cover if the pump is not on.
I am not sure is that the case from the beginnning or is there happened something to the diverters. I am pretty sure that i would have noticed the if that has happened from beginning. Have you ever filled the tube so hight that the diverters are under water?

hi! I going to buy this hot tube. Your movies are really helpful. But I have few questions :
do you heat this all time long or only few hours per day?
is it enough poweful for 5 persons using it at one time? Are all the jets going at the same time for all persons or periodicaly?
Could you tell me what is average temperature in your city in winter and summer?
How much cost 1 kwh of electricity in your city?

      Hi
This type of spa is designed and in fact must be turned on and heating all the time. You select the required temperature and then leave it to do its thing.
The lounger seat has its own 2 speed pump with adjustable air. The Captains seat, diagonally across from the lounger can be selected on a separate single speed pump and has adjustable air, the water to the three other seats can be blended with the Captains seat but obviously then have a lower power, again each has its own adjustable air control. Or turn the Captains seat off and the other three seats then have full water flow. The final seat, which is the step in to the spa is higher up and we use it for cooling off. No water or air go to the seat. We are nearly two years in and it is still going well. The key is daily maintanence and weekly filter swaps.
