The most important thing that should be on everyone mind currently should be to invest in different sources of income that doesn't depend on the government. Especially with the current economic crisis around the word. This is still a good time to invest in various stocks, Gold, silver and digital currencies.
The key to big returns is not big moving stocks. It's managing risk in relationship to reward. Having the correct size on and turning your edge as many times as necessary to reach your goal. That holds true from long term investing to day trading.

got 2 10 oz. bars when it was 18 an oz back in sep. last year, wish i had the money at the time to get more. just have to keep your eyes open and check daily, when things get rough, then check multiple times daily. have your funds earmarked for it so you do not have to worry and wait for your price point, when it happens pull the trigger and dont look back. only ever felt bad about one purchase and it was platinum that i bought back when it was stupid expensive, that was when i first started. i have learned a lot from you guys and galls keep on stacking all.

Canadian stacker here, started this past December. Back then we were right around current spot price and I was buying for about $40/oz (CAD) for maples and $38 for rounds. I continued to buy as things dropped and I'm glad I didn't buy all at once because I made a few large purchases on the most recent bottom, got tubes of rounds for $32.50 and $32.00. Got some CAD and US constitutional for around $34 and now I feel like I've got a solid base and a good cost basis. Having started only a few months ago buying at a fairly high price and already being at about breakeven feels good. Now I will continue to add on a regular but slower schedule with a heavier focus on gold too.
I've got it for 29.95 Euros for Philharmoniker, including shipping and insurance. Best price I could get in Europe, the actual price per coin was 27.83 Euro. But I've got 2 ounce silver coins bull and bear for free, so that covers the costs for shipping and insurance, so I am totally satisfied.
Same here, got 100 oz as a start, over several buys. Maples and bars about 50/50. Wish I could have got more but I'm not made of gold haha.

I found a local coin shop nearby that’s conveniently located close enough to stop by on my lunch break. Most coin shops have crappy hours, so this helps. Luckily he has good prices and flips everything fast. I scored some Standing Liberty quarters for $3.75 each (15x face value) and Walking Liberty halves for $8.75 each (17.5x face value).
Nice can’t beat those prices for old junk.

I'm currently still stacking. I have a monthly allowance. Some times I buy weekly depending on spot, but always try to stay within the monthly allowance. First paybills. Then weekly groceries and some extra prep foods. Then silver. We give what and where we can, but two kids and one with special needs is tough sometimes. Though non of it has been easy lately.

@@NicoProv I only buy in person, with cash. I live in Southern Maine. Portsmouth N.H. and Hampton are my first stops. Then a few places around Portland. Have not made it down to Tim's yet in Manchester.
When paper silver rouse is exposed prices will fly. Like jp Morgan's nickel warehouse being full of rocks. Markets are a sham.

Fort Knox is likely rocks...... The banking system is not as safe as those telling us- just how safe your money is in the banking system.
If the rouse is up the people buying paper silver will move to other paper assets. Chance of them moving to physical on a large scale is small

People buying paper (bad idea in my view) should at least by the Sprott funds in paper ETFs, cuz they hold the metal for you, instead of thin air... vs the Crooked Comex products like SLV & GLD. Still, real metal is the clear choifor those wanting to 'protect' savings, & not just profit from trading. In most cases, if a person is not able to buy & hold for yrs, hard silver might not be your best choice.
If they had never created paper silver investment products, the actual metal would likely be higher in value. No way to know or prove, besides using logic & understanding manipulation of markets via futures.
@@here_for_the And even if silvers price didn’t rise when paper gets caught with its pants down, it’s safe to assume spot and premium would get tighter. I’ve always heard paper drives spot, physical drives premiums.

I backed up half the truck when it was 20$ spot this year and i'm happy I did.
Five 1 oz buffaloes were around $120 a few weeks ago. Now $150.
My biggest concern is the banks claiming my assets (money) as their assets, too. As easily as I can access my money....so can they.

Shiny Pwecious Silver. I bought a lot at $9. SOLD a lot at $41. Buying some at $21... It is fun to watch the stack grow and I never count it among $ I have for "spending".
The demand problem is real. Even on March 12th I got 90% junk for 18.4x face. Two weeks later I'm seeing 28x if you can find it at all. (Should be 22x based on the change in spot price.)
Here in Vegas dealers are asking 24-26 times
I have noticed a delay time in receiving my packages 10-12 days to deliver, i understand i'm sure the dealers are swamped.
Demand is so high, dealers cannot keep stocked or current with orders. I've stopped trying to use SD Bullion.

New to stacking. My reasons: savings losing value/inflation, fear of bail-in theft of our savings if bank fails, worst case recognizable form of currency to buy things if dollar collapses
I'm with you guys on stacking I buy 2 times a week and spend $250 each time. But people flocking to buy silver will make the supply low out of fear just like people wanting all the money from the bank and the bank crashes its a catch 22.
Get out of dept make sure you can pay the bills to have a house food ect then buy silver gold ect.

I'm holding for now, looking for deals. I was fortunate over last couple months and found sales at SD, JM, MM, even Pimbex and Apmex, and added about $3-4k of silver rounds, coins, and bars at $22-$26/oz. I don't know if it will come back down again so gotta watch for deals I guess. I bought some 90% halves the other day, was high but I needed to finish off a stack I committed to. Want a couple more 1 oz gold Eagles, buffs, or Krugs, whatever is best deal but will watch and wait...im not selling, even sticking some cash in box too.
Silvers industrial applications will stabilize any rapid/random spikes.
But i do see the steady rise in prices, and declining availability in the private sector.
The collapse of banking system, is the gateway to CBDC's. Just not easy to know the time-line. 1yr? 2yrs? Its a tuff guess.
I just made another order at SD, you got to get it while it’s still below $30 an ounce for rounds. It’s going to go to $50 pretty quick people.
Problem is that stuff can go either way. But metals market has shown historically to be manipulated. I see new people getting into metals and the market go back down to the teens again as it has many times in the past. Then those people will panic sell and loose a portion of their money.

I noticed that SD Bullion now requires you to buy $500 minimum. In the past you could just buy one ounce.

The greatest silver run ever was in the mid 1970's to around 1981 when we had stagflation, which is the rare combo of high inflation and high unemployment leading to a bad recession. That might be what we are entering in 2023 and might be why silver is flying higher than even gold is flying. During stagflation; silver explodes higher by % than almost any holding including gold
Some reasons i know of to start stacking silver and i am just a novice. Inflation, Overprinting dollars at the mint, AI - including pay by palm technology, Global tensions, CBDC, and probably many more i cant think of.

Is silver at its highs? I've seen it $50 twice in my life. It's also one of if not the ONLY commodity on the planet under it's 1980 price. Silver is going MUCH higher and it will break $50 again on to new highs. $50 will likely be the floor for silver in the future, imo.

Reasonably new to stacking. I'm keeping disciplined to 4oz every 2 weeks on paydays. If I come across other chunks of cash here and there, I swing into a local dealer to buy what makes sense with what I have. Unfortunately, there's a lot of debt that needs to be serviced ahead of throwing money into savings like stacking. It's all about staying responsible and disciplined. I do keep my bank account as close to $0 as possible though.
If the silver is slightly damaged, does it loose value? Im not talking about tarnish, Im talking about physical scratches and small bits damage
I would say yes most will pay less is not “retail friendly” nice looking undamaged, etc. but not a lot depends on what it is. Generic not much different. Higher end stuff eagles, kookaburra, pandas, etc yes huge difference.

I hope you have kept all of the associated paperwork. When it's time to sell or barter you'll be able to easily prove the quality of what you're offering. An Excel spreadsheet helps to keep track of everything.

I bought 4000 in gold and 9000 in silver two weeks ago. It was my first time buying precious metals. I think I’m gonna spend around 30k more in the coming days. I feel like if I at least have the precious metals, even if it loses value at least I don’t lose everything I have. I don’t believe it will. But even if I spend more than what y’all would prescribe per my financial status for lack of my vocabulary, at least I can sell it back if need be. Who has thoughts on my reasoning? Any comments are greatly appreciated as long as they aren’t rude.

I bought bought bought back couple weeks ago. Prices were great then.
Bought most of mine 4 years ago: it doubled. Still buying (bought some gold maple leafs). More important is STORING FOOD AND SUPPLIES. It's nice to have barter; but it's better to have no need for trade (and the means to protect it and your family) . Buy dried beans and lead-beans (or arrows if you are not in Swiss, USA or Check Republic); rice, honey, instant coffee, soap candles, and so on. Happy great reset.
Everybody must be selling in my neck of the woods because I've never seen my lcs so loaded with gold and silver of all kinds. Unfortunately I had to cash in some as I had some bills pop-up and had to dip into savings. The building is starting to seriously tilt to one side.
i purchased a lotta PM in August, September and early October - then waited over the new year till 9th of March and purchased again....

3.5 million people into PMs is quite a lot. Approximately 186 million Americans are of working age. The US produces 170 tonnes yearly gold which means about 2.2 million ounces are for bullion.

I don't think price matters to much in the long term, just focus on accumulating for the time being. Take advantage of this price suppression. Jim Rickards suggests 10-20% holdings of net worth.
SD bullion is not shipping it out I ordered a bunch of silver three weeks ago and it still hasn't arrived and ordered some more two weeks ago and then they sent me a letter saying that they're way backed up and they don't know when they'll be shipping it out . I'm about to ask for my money back .
