@@bluenetmarketing It's a very small town. About 5000 people. We stayed in a small Mom & Pop motel. Everyone was very friendly.
I drove all the way to El Paso for the very same reason...😂

Colonel Mortimer was a great character -- Lee Van Cleef nailed it.
one of the greatest movies of all time. My goal is to go to one of these places they shot this masterpiece. Near Almeria place called Los Alberoques. I was already at "Sad Hill" and it was a fantastic experience.

Since 1969 i've tried to take my horse onto a train just to re- enact that scene. 18 times at the last count. Have you seen horse fares since ‘69? Thought not!

Seeing Cleef wearing all black and reading the bible, I wonder if this is where they later got inspiration for God's Gun (1976), another movie he starred in and which is very good. Ive watched it at least 4 times now.
Leone was like the Stanley Kubrick of westerns.
Lee Van Cleef is very photogenic. So is Gian Maria Volonté. and is Clint East Wood. Among the three, I would vote for Gian Maria Volonte. But I am an Indian and I look like Gian Maria Volonte (My imaginary wife says "you wish".).
