I do hope your mental health does get better and I’m really happy your taking time for yourself. Even if your lying in bed doing nothing, as long as you feel rested and happy and safe that’s what’s important and what makes you feel okay. I have lay in bed for I kid you not 4 days straight just listening to audios and on insta. My parents absolutely hate it and yell at me so much for it but ny therapist is def on my side because it’s okay to take mental health breaks. I get the mentality of having to give 100% because I was always seen as the cHiLd ThAt CoUlD sAvE mY fAmIly. My older brother has mental health issues of his own and my younger brother is not academically gifted. I am somewhat gifted in that area but the pressure I have recieved since childhood and also the threat that if I’m not smart or talented that my parents will no longer value me has led to my depression which duckd up my mind. No matter what anyone says it is okay to take a break and take time for yourself and if you fail, it’s not over. You have a million opportunities and I know it’s hard to believe but failure is not the end it’s just one door out of a hundred closing. I’m a little bit of a hypocrite saying this since I plan to kms if I don’t pass my exams (getting results in a month) but seriously I want all of you to live for yourselves. You owe this world nothing. Sorry for going on a tangent and kind of making this abt me i didn’t mean to lol hope you do continue making good mental health decisions!
