@@annikabecht5555 If I'm not mistaken, it's a joke about serving numbers in a deli. Often times, when you make an order, you get a number, and when your order is ready, they'll call your number.

@@myredcat123during the recession some cash-strapped owners thought that the life-saving procedures their pets needed were too costly to go through with, especially for what would probably not be that much extra time. The joke is that the elderly were afraid their families would see the life-saving procedures THEY needed as too expensive to be worth it as well, and choose to “put them to sleep” instead like they would a sick pet

+Sherrey Lamei The dress rehearsal is on friday with a different audience. It means they can test out their jokes on a live audience but the "on air" audience is still hearing them for the first time.

+Dot P He is imitating a seller in a deli, shouting out the ticket numbers, uting the guys age of 90 as number. :) Its "funny" because its a joke about a guy dying, who used to work at a deli.

+Sophovot It's hard/frustrating assembling the sky jigsaw pieces together because they all look the same. That's why he said it was more impressive...yeah, not a particularly funny punchline, hence the audience's lackluster reaction.

@@rayjaygee i think it would've went over better if he was like "even more impressive it was a puzzle of (some monochrome painting)" and then cut to a picture of it. But even then i don't think it was a great joke for a crowd
