Javed Ahmed Ghamidi is a Pakistani Muslim theologian, a Quran scholar, and an educationist. Mr. Ghamidi is a student of Maulana Amin Ahsan Islahi and Maulana Abul A’la Maududi. Mr. Ghamidi has authored several books, including the bestseller ‘Meezan’, in which he presents a comprehensive treatise on the entire content of Islam. Mr. Ghamidi is a researcher and a critical thinker who has challenged many aspects of the traditional Muslim schools of thought on the basis of evidence from Quran and sunnah.

I not only believe that there is no scholar of his stature profundity of religious thought and precision of its understanding and lucidity of his articulation in the Muslim word, but I also believe that I have yet to see anybody more profound just and humane than Professor Javed Ghamidi sahib, when it comes to commentary on social issues including human rights.

Javed Ghamdi is a knowledgeable scholar but I listen to him very carefully. His thoughts on Sunnah, Hadees & specially on current Economical system are different than the rest of scholars.

مقدمہء ابنِ خلدون تو خود ہی ایک مکمل تصنیف ہے جو تاریخِ ابنِ خلدون سے زیادہ مشہور ہوا اور پڑھا گیا۔روزگارِ فقیر میں لکھا ہے کہ فقیر سید نجم الدین نے علامہ اقبال سے عرض کی کہ میں نے انہیں اپنے بیٹے( فقیر وحید الدین) کو تاریخِ ابنِ خلدون پڑھنے کا مشورہ دیا ہے، تو علامہ اقبال نے فرمایا:
’’پوری کتاب نہیں، صر ف مقدمہ‘‘۔
جی جی بالکل علامہ اقبال کے اس واقعے کا ذکر روزگار فقیر میں نقل ہے

The fundamental principle expounded by Ibn Khaldun is that truth is multidimensional. What is true in Biology must also be true in Chemistry and must also be true in Physics. What is true in history must be true in archeology and linguistics.

Ghamidi sahib generally talks about people who make either political or theological contribution to the nation and world in the whole. I pray for Molana Khadim Hussain rizvi sahib but I dont see if he made any positive contribution in the gist of personalities being mentioned. Therefore I will be very surprised if G sahib would say anything on him. But lets see ...

In regards to the arrival of Imam Mahdi there are 3 schools of thought who has 3 different kinds of beliefs .
1st school of thought says that Imam Mahdi comes along with Isa Pbuh in the end times to fight against Dajjal.
2nd school of Thought believes to which Javed Ghamidi saab belongs believe that Imam Mahdi wont appear at any time.
3rd school of Thought to which I belong confirms that Syed Muhammad Jaunpuri (PBUH)who is the promised Mahdi has already and departed some 600 years ago in India.
