- Ever wanted to remake or rebuild your favourite rides at Alton Towers, such as Rita, Galactica and Oblivion?? Today I try and do just that... and fail miserably. Join me as I continue my millennium long journey to becoming a theme park rollercoaster designer, as i get to grips with No Limits 2, as recommended to by John Wardley.

NoLimits Roller Coaster Simulation is a software package available for Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X designed and built by a team of programmers and artists led by German programmer Ole Lange. It was first released in November 2001. The package includes two separate pieces of software, the NoLimits Editor and NoLimits Simulator, with a third application of the game, the NoLimits Terraformer supported as well.
I use no limits 2 myself, and it is an absolute pain to learn and use overall, but the results are incredible. I spend far too much time for the coasters on my channel. Great video Dan, I can see you have improved in NL2!

Hi Dan, loving the videos. You should try this video using a game called Rollercoaster Dreams, arguably worse than Roller Coaster Tycoon. Just an idea. Anyway you genuinely surprised me when you did that Rita replica, was expecting something ridiculous but you did a good job, well done!

FVD++ for me makes more realistic coasters for no limits. I recommend the tutorial from EliteCoasters

Was great to meet you! I’d say Planet Coaster is more sandbox and fun, but Nolimits is more difficult and realistic - if you want a fun game definitely Planco but Nolimits if you want to properly build coasters 🔥

you should try to make coasters using fvd ++
if you use the depumping technique, it will smooth it out.

You should use FVD++ to make the coaster layouts and then import it into No limits 2, it's a lot smoother and easier to control the forces and you get used to it a lot quicker than no limits 2.

I know there's a way to import google earth satellite imagery to scale into nolimits 2. that helps keep everything in proportion. I mean, if you ever want to do a real recreation anyway lol.

This looks a lot more advanced than Planet Coaster lol. I've tried remaking the Towers rides in Planet Coaster and the only one that didn't work was The Smiler (it kept valleying in the Batwing [bad sign, ik] so I added a cheeky little LSM launch just before the Reverse Sidewinder).
Just don't ask about Th13teen. It works but it is disgusting.
Rebuilding the rides on this looks a lot harder but hey, Rita looked pretty good (excepy phasing through the station roof lol)
