We just found your channel and have been binge watching a lot of your videos. The wife and I should be taking inventory of our 2023 Bavaria SR41 in December. We purchased the boat from Ian Van Tyle there on harbor island. We absolutely love San Diego, but we live in Santa Monica and I work in Marina Del Rey. We are planning on keeping our boat in MDR. If we start spending more time on our boat than our condo, we may rent our condo and live on our boat like you. We only have a small Yorkie to share our boat with. I will retire in 2 years and we plan to use our boat much like you do. Just traveling up and down the California coast. When we get good, I would like to take the boat to Cabo San Lucas. You have a lot of important information in your videos. Thank you for helping us…

Nice video, sad you had to leave downtown. They should have a small number of liveaboard downtown.
You will loved Shelter Island, less the weekend and holiday parking is a pain. Suggest using your scooters more to get around for shopping and food runs. We used a rack on the back of my car, I stored two scooters there. They made it easy to use. Added a nice cable lock for both. Never had an issue.
The pump station is nice and easy to use.

they do -- its why they had to move from their original dock at San Diego, which didn't allow live aboard.
