Hi everyone, I'm Steve Kuban, composer of "The Lord Is My Tower," and singer on this video. Today, Feb. 7th, marks the 30th anniversary of the death of my father, Steve Joseph Kuban, who was a true inspiration to me. Together with my mom (who is still alive) they encouraged me to pursue a life of music. From the age of three when I first began playing piano by ear, they sacrificed so much to allow me to develop my musical craft. When my father died prematurely at age 52 I was only a teenager.

I met you in Trinidad, many years ago., stay in the Tower of Ages.
The year after my father died, I discovered the reality and historical truth about Jesus Christ. Until then I had been an atheist writing music against God! But as I began to examine Christ's irrefutable life on earth and the accuracy of the Bible and it's prophecies, I believed in Him and asked Him to come into my life. He did, and He changed me forever! Since giving my life and future to serve Him, He's given me some amazing opportunities to bear His Name in many countries around the world.
My Dad always believed in me, and sacrificed a lot so that one day I might become something special to the world with my gift of music. Sadly he didn't get to see those dreams realized before he died, but I have faith that he HAS seen, from heaven's vantage point, some of those hopes and dreams realized. May these video clips reveal (contrary to the unkind comments you posted) that many people DO know and care about the name 'Kuban' and I (for one) DO bring honor to our "KUBAN" name and clan.

It was actually May 1, 2005 that I sang the concert in Shillong, and it's interesting that you shared your comment right at this time because believe it or not I am actually editing video of when I sang "The Lord is My Tower" in Shillong 15 years ago! I will upload it asap and let you know. Where were you in the crowd? If you were close to the front, like a lot of the young people were that night, you may be able to see yourself in the video, or possibly your friends, as the faces are clear.
