You've got him well stocked. And at least he won't be too far for visits and getting a few items that he might find out that he needs/wants.

I am trying to get him well stocked and on to a great start. I never got to go off to school which was a plan for me and it quickly changed my Senior year. So this is really exciting for me as well. But I am going to miss him so much! Yes, I have never been to the campus but I can tell they must have updated it because some building looks really nice and new. I was impressed! Great haul. I have a couple of suggestions. Save your receipts., lol. I bought my daughter a lot of items for her dorm room her first year of college and she didn’t us most of it and I took it back to the store. As far as laundry basket., I bought a sturdy laundry bag with a thick strap where you could carry it and I purchased washing powder pods, instead of liquid, it was easier on her to take pods in a zip lock bag instead of taking a bottle of liquid laundry soap and her laundry bag full of clothes. Also I stocked my daughter up on underwear and socks, believe me, there will be days where the laundry room is crowded or you just may not have time to wash., and I stocked her up with plenty of toilet paper and paper towels, and a first aid kit with Advil, pepto, nail clippers, etc. In my opinion, I think the personal planner is a must have, professors have deadlines coming at you, left and right. Your son will be just fine, Hope. Remind him to keep God first, and work before parties, lol. 🙂

Love this haul Hope! Be careful with using the Dollar Tree flip flops as shower shoes. The plastic knobs on the bottom that hold the straps down are slippery when wet. I tried to use them as shower shoes when traveling and end up slipping and sliding in the hotel shower. I almost fell in the shower and it would have been a pretty bad fall had I not been able to catch myself.
