I have examined this BM6, there is no transient protection! Should have a TVS 18-20V on the battery input and a 3-3.3v zener on the ADC input. The regulator might survive a spark or 2 but the cpu will not be happy. It uses a CH582F processor, an AP2204/5 regulator. There is a mystery chip in a U-QFN2020-12 pin package: could be a I2C, SPI or USB memory chip, cannot identify the marking code.

agree, I selected "NOT allowed" and is fine. Is just app, the device is to small to hold and gps. Maybe is good if you have fleet of cars, taxis etc.
