Nice video. I am traveling to Italy this year,and I am trying to bring a minimal amount of clothes with me. I will have to lay out my choices and see how many outfits I can make.
I like the black wide leg pants outfits - especially with the flat trainers and denim jacket for a more casual look. I hadnât thought about pairing a jacket under a coat before and I also hadnât thought of wearing a denim jacket with the sleeves rolled up and the long sleeve top showing underneath, itâs given me more options to consider. Iâm going on a short holiday soon, so I need to keep my pieces to a minimum.

This is the most useful travel capsule video Iâve seen. The tip about narrow and wide pants and the fact that you brought two pairs of sneakers makes it different from all the others Iâve watched. Will you make one for longer trips?
Iâm going on a 15 day river cruise in March. What items would you add? Come to think of it you did show 18 outfits. I maybe would add one pair of jeans and perhaps another top like a white button up. I still havenât nailed packing with fewer clothes although I try to fit everything in a carry on size suitcase just to keep things manageable.
Diana, just an idea for a future video: How to add one's own colors to basic outfits -- even outfits that may not "fit" one's color palette. Once you know what colors work for you -- but you still have a very basic wardrobe, particularly with lots of black or colors that you once thought worked for you, how to add color that works? Perhaps this is waaaay too specific for a video lesson. But after growing out my white-gray hair and taking your color palette profile, I discovered that my colors truly are different from what I long believed! I always thought I was a "fall" -- all warm tones, lots of brown and khaki and orange and lots of black, which my wardrobe reflects -- and now I can see I'm all about cool tones, clear brights, nothing muted but nothing too dark. ARGH. Thanks for listening.....

Dear Diana, I could never make it with 3 tops for 4 days, unless I wash it in the hotel. I need at least two tops a day, to be fresh all the time.
I'd rather take only one bag instead.

How many white tees did you bring. I tend to get coffee or something spilled on the plane. What did you do with your coat and blazer on the plane? The overheads are always full?
One white t-shirt. I put my coat on my lap and as for the blazer I was just wearing it, itâs actually very good fabric, you can do whatever you want in it, not a single wrinkle ))
@@dianagoss I would have been way to warm. Plus with my luck the person sitting beside me would dump their red wine on me. đ. I don't have good luck on airplanes when it comes to staying clean.
I would bring at least one Tee for a day đ but just one coat or jacket. An at least one sweater, that you could also use as a scarf or throw it over the shoulder.

Personally ,I am someone who prefers comfortable clothing especially when I am travelling, but I don't really have a thing for classy stuff at informal places. What body shape are you?
I see in the suitcase you have a gray sleeveless turtleneck or is that a dickie? Did you use it for layering?I may find this capsule useful for my upcoming trip to Germany to Prague in March. For the long 10 hour flight I may opt to take pants with an elastic waistband in addition to the 2 pairs of pants you have.
All these outfits are beautiful, but I prefere those with kitten heals.

Very cool ideas, but as others have said, if you wear your tshirts or top once between washes, especially tshirts, then you need more than one, actually one per outfit. Easier to wear bottoms or jackets more than once. great putfit ideas though.
Iâm surprised you took 2 pairs of trainers even though both different; no loafers? I canât seem to track down the adidas trainers. Love them and the look which Iâve never seen before watching your videos!

Three jackets and a long coat sounds a bit excessive for a short trip. I certainly wouldn't pack anything white. A cashmere jumper and a thermal top would be enough for a couple of days with one smart top for evenings out.
Never apologize for showing the same item many times. Itâs much easier to invest in a quality item that costs more if you can show versatility
