@@mai-ss3po Look up some of the rebuttals and flips that Hitman, Conceited, Clips, and Charron have come up with in battle raps if you think that, dude. They absolutely can bust out lines that quick, especially if they've thought about a rhyme/insult before and just have to swap a word or two. One of my favorite flips in battle rap is Charron firing back about a Freddy Kruger line he got hit with like 3 seconds before. Also, Justina did a proper freestyle for the 5 Fingers of Death on Sway that really shows off her ability to come up with and string together lines on the spot.
There's a reason they cut between a lot of takes and the person that gets burned isn't the one that responds a lot of the time. Anything that's not good enough gets edited out or people that don't have a good response just stay off the mic.
E: Also, some parts of their workshops are on YT in Tim DeLaghetto's vlogs that show the cast practicing these game formats. One of them even has a "Alien/Predator and Face Editor" scheme that (I think) Chico and Jacob try to rework for the show.
