JOHN GOODMAN IS A GIANT IN THIS SCENE
Mark gave an Oscar worthy performance in this scene.
Peter Berg is a master of using very simple and realistic moments to create emotional stakes.
Yep. Film 101
“This is MY FUCKIN CITY RICK!”
I always feel the slam on that table
What happened to his leg?
he kicked a door
A few hours before the race, he responded to a call and when he tried to make entry, he kicked the door to the residence and it messed up his knee.
Still is. His staffers are running the Biden white house and the reason the whole world is on fire.
He was kicking a vietnamese shop owner in a racist tirade

Man I don’t care what people say, Mark Wahlberg can act and he can act very well. If you don’t think so, you are lying to yourself.
I love when movies waste time on unnecessary personal conflict because they can't think of any other way to create tension
I think him coming home and everyone badgering him about it was realistic. And most people would be so sad being at the scene and seeing those horrible things done.
The photo argument also kinda artificial but also a realistic enough that doesn’t waste too much time.
It's not unrealistic. That dude is stress, burnout, and traumatized by the whole incident, and coming home to wife's family giving a 360 degree nagging and begging for info which he doesn't have and not giving him piece of mind would definitely set him off. As for the meeting. In an interagency operation, sometimes different law enforcement entities don't work well together. It could be due to TTPs, doctrines, procedures, organizational culture, distrust, or just unwillingness to cooperate with the other agency. Sometimes law enforcement agencies don't work effectively and efficiently while in a joint operation, it has happened before, not surprising.
