Punta Sur and The Eastside of Cozumel!

- Expats Chey and Cody drive to the eastside of the island of Cozumel. We explore an abandoned building, have drinks beside the ocean and enjoy one of the many free beaches. To finish off the day, we take a boat out onto the lagoon in the Punta Sur Eco Park in search of Crocodiles, Frigates and other creatures!

The abandoned beach club was called Playa Bonita and is located at Punta Chiqeros. Numerous storms have eroded the beach to the point of collapse.
When I first came out to Cozumel, in 2020, you could still walk around inside. I give it one more good storm before it's in the sea!
Bring cash if you’re going to the east side. The few places there didn’t take anything else when we went.

Chey's friend here on the island highly recommend that place but we just didn't make it. Next time!
