Brandon Ingram is probably going to play vs. the Lakers today. Even if he doesn't, he's certainly going to be ready for the playoffs. He's been practicing for a week or so.
I think the bigger question for me is who the Pelicans are matched up with. Thanks to Denver blowing a massive lead vs. San Antonio, it might be Denver. They don't stand a chance in that series. I wanted them to play Minnesota, who they've played well this year. And going back to the Jazz days, Zion has always done well against Gobert.
The Pelicans record without Ingram shows they aren’t real contenders. Look at the Wolves without Towns, 13-6. Good teams overcome injuries.
