Excellent review, proud to be an altroz owner. I experience Mileage city 14-16 and highway ride 20-22 if you go long ride( more than 200kms) maintain 80-110 speed without harsh acceleration.

I own Altroz XZ variant.. I learnt driving only upon buying my altroz and it helped me learn too quick.. Its a perfect family car.. i feel 0 -ve about my car.. after sale service is also awesome..

1. Engine pickup: Initially Lenient & promising after 2000+ rpm
2. Mileage: City-13 to 15 & Highways/long drive- 17.5 to 21.5 (kmpl)
3. Stability: Great/Excellent
4. Dynamics: Excellent
5. Storage: Good compared to its competitors
6. Erganomics: Good
7. Stability: Excellent & cornering is too good
8. Braking & safety: Excellent (compared to its competitors)
9. Design: Both exterior & interior are great
10: AC: Excellent cooling
11. Service(Car & Customer service): Strongly has to be improved a lot lot lot...
12. Engine noise: NVMs are good upto speed 100 kmph...
13. Music system: Excellent
14. Seat capacity: 5 adults
Altroz is a great car to go... Petrol Engine(drivability should be like, go with the flow, gentle & lenient)... If you need a punchy engine go for Diesel one(4cyl + 1.5 ltr engine)...

Bro, I'm using altroz. For opening bonnet in this flip key, we need to long press the "follow me" button for 3 seconds. It will unlock the boot.
Similarly, when we press both the lock and unlock button together, the car makes alarming horn sound.

Engine refinement will be good in i20, plus in cities you will feel lighter while driving i20, but in highways stability altroz wins anyday. So choose car depending on your requirements. Plus regarding service hyundai is better but if you look after your car well, then buying altroz will not be a problem

Which premium hatch-back, compact sadan or suv would a good choice now? Looking for good safety, convenience and decent features in the car. Should be best in after sales service and maintenance cost should be manageable. Presently owning Rapid AT TDI. Rapid is a good performer, but maintenance is very high, spares are very costly and have only one dealer for Skoda. So, I am looking for replacing with petrol variant (not interested in diesel as my running is low now). Your suggestions are welcome.

Since you are looking for an enhancing vehicle go for Nexon or XUV 300 (considering the maintenance).
If the budget could be extended then switch to XUV 700 MX petrol MT / Harrier XM (Safety, convenience, and decent features in the car)

Yeah, back seat, thigh support is lesser when compared to Nexon.. but you can fix it by going after market additional foaming in the rear seat

I guess the center horn is removed intentionally for safety reasons since the airbag is placed in the middle position.
