- David has a serious heart-to-heart with God in Psalms 5. In his lament, he cries to God for help, and reminds God He hates liars and those who are deceitful, bloodthirsty, wicked, arrogant. and filled with malice. David tells God he bows down with great love and reverence in God's Holy Temple. David pleads with God to make his way straight before him, safely through his enemies and to declare them guilty! Let all who take refuge in the Lord be glad and filled with joy. Surely, Lord, you surround them with a shield! Let this be our prayer, that God will put Himself between us and the destroyer, shielding us! And we rejoice for His love!
As always, I welcome your thoughts and comments ~ we're all learning here. I do not claim to be a theologian or Bible scholar in any way. In fact, the Good News got started because I wanted a deeper understanding of the Bible and prayed about that. Thus, God led me to do these daily devotions, where I have to dig deeper. And I love others' thoughts and opinions, support, and suggestions. We are all in God's classroom, wanting nothing else in life except to please and Honor Him. Amen? Amen!

He has recently gone viral with a short clip of a sermon, but this one, with the theme, "How far behind are you following," is a perfect message for each person to hear, especially a Christian! I encourage you to listen and, perhaps listen again. I am keeping this one on speed-dial!
Would you like to share His Gospel with others? Then I will eagerly support and encourage you! Start by praying and see where you go! Revelations 3:7b, What God opens, no man can shut, and what God closes, no man can open! When we are standing before such a mighty God as this, and His Holy Spirit will be with us, guiding and directing us, we will not fail! Harvesting for God can simply be reading His Holy Word and/or offering personal experiences or wisdom you have learned and earned through your life. Or it could be as creative and imaginative as God sends you ~ maybe even a garage band creating "Garage Gospel"! Remember, benefits are out of this world, in paradise! God bless you, my friend!

Good news good news, God bless you Beverly, thank you for the good news, my mind is racing, I listened to your message, but didn't hear a thing, I'm expecting a Walmart delivery, I'm expecting more than that but it don't,appear it's going to happen, I need some wasp and hornet spray, the wasp spray in every crack around the door I will be back in a little while when I can concentrate and listen, God bless you I love you
Slow down, my brother! God will be with you through it all! Take a breath and let God seep in, just like you know He will! Focus on His mercies and grace and seek His guidance and wisdom. And most of all, ask Him to put Himself between you and the destroyer. For this is how the destroyer gets in, through hurries and worries and such as this. I pray you peace, my dear brother!
