Honestly, how can people say that Sturgeon has been doing alright? Do they follow politics at all? Just take a look at everything she and her party have touched. The incompetence is breathtaking. I used to vote for the SNP when they had Gordon Wilson as leader, someone who really cared about Scotland. I think, no matter what, Scotland will ALWAYS hate leadership. It seems to be so deeply embedded in the culture that it just always is there.
It's because Scots are renowned as very canny people, they don't hate leadership, it's bad leadership they hate, and with so many bad leaderships, the Scots are going to be critical of it and give off the impression they just hate leadership fullstop when that really isnt the case. But if it's so bad then the Scots would be the sort of people who know they could do a better job leading, but if the leadership is good and right, then they're not going to be so critical.

- The most well thought of UK leader during lockdown because of her daily briefs focused on keeping people safe
- Argued a strong democratic case for a second referendum (which weirdly enough the pro-WM mainstream media mentioned more of than she ever did in any of her terms so I've no idea why the unionists are moaning about the SNP talking about independence when they spoke about it more often) - the SNP actively put independence on the back-burner while they dealt with the pandemic!
- Tougher restrictions which led to the smallest death toll relating to Covid than anywhere else in the UK
- Got rid of a higher percentage of covid rulebreakers from her own government than any other UK government did (based on % of actual rulebreakers) - she didn't defend them, she did the right thing even though it'd obviously have been easier to let it go
- Constantly held WMs feet to the fire over the imposition of a hard Brexit that all constituencies in Scotland rejected outright
- She was honest with the people of Scotland - Boris lied to everyone without any single thought to the people!
- Had more integrity than any other UK politician over her entire 3 terms
She has given Scottish jobs abroad
