Zach is right. It’s just weird. Portraying children doing things is gross. Even if the actors are legal.
Kids that age do go through stuff like that tho, so they're probably going for the more realistic approach even if it's the minority
I agree that Zach is right. But on the other hand, when you see it in films on a lower scale, for example, two children kissing in a movie kinda gives children something relatable and something to dream about. So I agree but I can also see the other side.

I honestly agree with Zach. It does kinda feel weird knowing it’s set in high school.
Genuinely one of you best episodes, loved the history talk and those stories were so “juicy” my husband and I kept pausing to give our opinions and talk along with you guys. Even got sweaty pits from the feeling like emotions throughout the stories. Just A+ podcast right here. Found you through “Unfiltered” and been watching since!

part of Euphoria being set in highschool is for the shock factor and to highlight the oversexualization girls experience in high school. Girls in college can be oversexualized but what makes it wrong and tramautizing is that it happens at a young age, this also relates to the drugs as well. to me this show digs deep into different types of traumas. for drugs; in college you're more likely to be separated from your family and Rue's drug problem is not only damaging to her but her loved ones, which the show emphasizes.

The funny thing is... Not sure if all universities and colleges are like this but I'm my university, the steryotypes for university is the extreme minority, most people go to class, pay attention, get food, hang out and then go about their day, drugs, alcohol addictions, extreme partying and nymphomaniacs are pretty much non-existent
In my ocuntry most secondary schools (not British) are single gendered so my comment on "high school" is based on the age not the actual concept of the school and around that age range is when the "troublesome" kids start doing all of that shit because no one is around to help and guide them so yeah... Our world is a fucked up place

I said what Zack said earlier in the pod. WHY COULDN’T THEY DO THIS IN A COLLEGE SCENARIO ! Don’t get me wrong shit goes down in high school , BUT we don’t need it to be normalized like this lol it’s weird. Specially the drug situations, more College vibes than HS. No damn drug dealer is going to give a suitcase full of expensive drugs to a Jr in high school.

I really really enjoyed this episode. First off being Jewish and having holocaust survivor grandparents, it was really heartwarming to hear that you guys are educating yourselves and are aware of the importance of not letting it be forgotten. Also really really appreciated indiana’s point on not commenting on someone’s body, super important 🙏🏽 love your guy’s podcast

When they were talking about the slim/chunky I related I am 5’8” and 150 pounds my coworker is 5’4 and a lot “ smaller” than I am. An older man came into our shop and kept calling my coworker “skinny” as a nickname over and over and then pointed to me and said see she is perfect you should gain some weight. He had no right to comment anything especially to compare us she is beautiful the way she is

I am for sure a fat girl but I 100% am on your side girly!! My bestie since forever is a smaller girly and she's always struggled with body imagine and I think people can be soooo harsh about it. Just as much as I struggle with my weight and managing my diet, she does as well. Our metabolism are polar opposite, and we deal with the same body image issues. But society treats her a bit different. If someone were to tell her to eat a burger then the whole room wouldn't flinch but if someone told me to eat a vegetable, I would think atleast half of the room would be offended for me.

When Jared showed that first picture of the concentration camp.... I got chills. I have never seen that photo, and never even heard about the beautification of the camps, but I have had a nightmare where horrible things happened to me and people I love in that first photo. I remember waking up in a cold sweat, but confused as to where it was. I'm in shock...

that cat story honestly ticked me off. giving away someones cat to a shelter because you are allergic is absolutely insane to me. if she wanted to keep the cat and still date you. honestly only way that would've worked is to not live with eachother until the cat passes away. this is a cat that she grew up with and for him to so oh yeah like its just a cat she talks to him like its a human, well no duh? the cats been in her life for how many years and animals are much more then pets they are an amazing addition to your family and even helps people out in emotional ways, therapy animals etc. probably the worst story ive ever heard and i hope quick karma comes to that guy. On the "matching ugly sweaters" with the girlfriends face on them. This is totally something my fiance's mother would do to me. She's always been so mean to me because I'm overweight. She says things to me like, "I know my son loves you because he's never dated a fat girl before, so I know he loves you for your personality and not your looks" 🙄🙄🙄 but jokes on her bc her son thinks I'm gorgeous and loves on me all the time, and we've been together for 4 years.

I like that indi said that people have to stop talking about other body because I remember a my P.E teacher once said to me that I have two lose some weight to play better and it stuck with me till this day

I lot of people say euphoria is unrealistic but from what I have seen and Ben around it's very realistic and there has been similar issues and instances from the show that happen in real life for high schoolers unfortunately

Most people don't really "full out" as I like to call it until they're I ntheir 20's like I was a skinny little twig until I was 19 and then I still looked like a kid until just last year when I turned 20, I'm 21 now and I still look on the young side I'd say but now you can actually guess my age and be like ohh yeah he's 20 or 21... Most shows don't really show teenagers that look like teenagers
And as I said before I was a twig until I left secondary school and people lept commenting on my size because I am pretty sure and I was even shorter then and skinny to boot
