Very interesting video! What do you think of the idea of using Assault Synchron and Accel Synchro to make lvl 10 Sincros like Dis Pater and Baronne? Have you tested it on your deck?
Those are legit plays you can make & they're very good - if you wish to do those there is no reason not to do so; however, as I mention in another comment, I wanted to keep this as close to my real life TCG deck as possible. So with Baronne gone there was no payoff for me to do so outside dis pater - that's ignoring having to hard draw synchron. Another reason I chose to forgo those plays is I wanted to play more mid-range and less combo intense. This way the deck has a repeatable resource loop it can do every turn. Fusion to search roar, roar recover fusion, fusion for titan. Also set-up with GY resources for a Bystial in hand to banish dark to grab a search. There are different ways you can approach this deck. Big chaos combo pile isn't bad, but to compete I was looking for solid consistency. Especially in a deck that is known for bricking.
I mean... That's a completely different deck. You'd Fusion lock yourself with Branded Fusion. Branded can play thunder dragons, but thunder dragons doesn't really play branded. It's about which is the central part of your strat. Here Thunder is the central part.
You can, but it's not ideal with Armageddon knight if it gets handtrapped your turn ends; meanwhile, with solar since its a thunder you can always use something like thunder dragon dark in hand and still turn solar into Collossus. If you're in a pinch for UR dust it will do the job and open up some different combo lines since you get to revive back Armageddon Knight again, triggering it once more, but that's only really strong if you're playing Mali. TLDR: Yes, but no.
So if you had to choose between the Horus engine or the Bystial engine to go with Thunder Dragon, (UR dust doesn't come easy sometimes. 😭) which would you choose and why?
Bystial. Thunders want to be banished. You should be able to look at my older list, it's Bystial Thunder, and use it. It should either be linked at the end or you can find it on my channel by just filtering by most viewed. It's my highest viewed video, iirc.
Yes, you can. I personally don't. I think it's better in non-allure builds. Since we're relying on Allure here you would rather see Dark and use allure / Mag to trigger off that search effect. Thunder Dragon, itself, is good with Titan to break boards; however, it can cause bricking issues in combination with the Horus cards, Dark, etc.
I wanted to run a similar list between both the TCG & MD. This way I could also learn the deck I wanted to play competitively more easily. Since I don't physically own a chaos angel - I chose to forgo it. Learning Chaos Angel plays wouldn't help me, personally. Only changes necessary to make this deck TCG legal are swapping 2 called by to 2 crossout, Elf for Unicorn, and Maxx C for Ogre iirc. If you want to run Chaos Angel - there's no reason for you to skip it.
@@uilarry4904 $45 for the Secret, $58 for the OTS Ulti. Its not mega expensive, but its a pricey card. Keep in mind Imsety is currently $61 a copy as well. I just got mine on pre-order for much, much cheaper.
