Very interesting and funny scene from 0:30 - a young crow tries to join two older crows in their cawing ritual, but fails to produce a proper caw and quickly runs away in embarrassment! 😄
No, this is incorrect. that crow actually produced a rattle call which is another kind of call they make. it was definitely intentional and not some mistake. it is indeed a proper caw, but just of a different kind.
@@saradave5827 We are doing some intentionally funny interpretations of crow behavior here... It is also known as a "sense of humor". Not to mention you are in fact incorrect because the so-called "rattle call" is usually described as a "non-caw crow vocalization". So it is not a proper caw and actually not a caw at all, and definitely produced by a juvenile crow with still underdeveloped vocalization range.
@@olexii_o7296 Um, what difference does it make whether it is arbitrarily classified as a "caw" or not? The fact of the matter is that the rattle call was done intentionally and has nothing to do with vocal chords being developed or not. Adult crows make this call all the time. Frankly, I found your comment to be lacking in depth and do not find forming incorrect assumptions and making a caricature of the behavior of a highly intelligent bird species to be humorous. You just aren't funny... sorry not sorry boomer.
They are eating tiny bugs we can't see from our perspective. And they store their beaks with peanuts to take away to a quiet spot or cache them. Crows prefer to eat alone.
Thank you 🙏🌹. I understand that so far after feeding them since 2019😇. I meant the deeper understanding of their behaviour.. There is still so much to observe, feel and discover 🙏🌹if we love crows and all the birds... 🎉

@@JacoAND111 I do. I want so much to make friends with the crows living in my neighborhood. I give them handfuls of food as peace offering, but I always have a dog with me. They watch us, but I never see them eat. Not yet anyway. I won't give up. 🙂
@@JacoAND111 I think you're right. Also, that I'm making friends first even though he wants to say hello...and that the cat food and dog kibble I disperse is not his buffet. 😄
I'm not an expert on dog's and cat's education although I grew up with them, but they were living outside in the garden.. I think that you can talk to your dog explaining him that the crows can be his friends aswell if he's as patient as you have to be with the crows, leaving them time and space to check you out 😘.. Including the dog so he won't attack the crows and then miracles can happen🙏🐶♥️
If you give gifts (such as food) to crows, they will warm up to you and may give you things in return. And they tell the rest of their murder, so you can have a whole bunch of friends who will defend you. Personal crow army.
Yessss 👌🙏. I can't walk very far in the English Garden without a crow coming to me or calling me from afar, since I keep feeding the baby crows.. For 5 years now. The older crows keep sending me their kids.. As the great tits and woodpeckers on my balcony. I love them all every day ❤❤❤
We used to have a Hooded crow (Corvus cornix) pair visit our garden and accept treats. The male would sometimes get greedy and claim it all for himself, hiding what he couldn't gulp down for later. His mate would observe from a distance, then swoop down to dig it up after he flew off. Love their little social dynamics, each individual is unique in that regard.
Thank you for sharing your funny observation 😂🙏. In fact all the birds are stealing from another, and the squirrels too 👌💕. Yes I agree❤️ crows of any kind are just phantastic animals!

Crows reveal themselves to humans slowly.
Yess. I met Jaco as baby in July 2020.. And his wife Ibu is still very shy although we know each other since 2.5 years, too ❤.
The crows say so much to you because you speak so sweetly to them. It's beautiful to watch.
