Her personality is very gryffandor, very brave, commandeering, etc.. HD is more sharp, cunning, and has a love of power. HM has a very loyal and “neutral good” personality. Veronica is smart, sharp, and overall loyal as seen in the end when she goes back to Martha. Sorry for my ted talk.

This is one of the many things I love about Ryan's JD. The character is so emotionally disconnected that even when sing a powerful love song, his face is blank. Other actors highlights different parts of the character, and that's what Ryan chose and I am HERE for it.

It probably meant nothing but like, even if Veronica is the odd one out, Duke is the only not primary colour. So shes different that way, shes the only one without a 'song' that isnt a reprise and the other Heathers have other personalities we were shown, we only really saw a Jealous power hungry person in Duke. To everyone saying it doesn't look good, remember this was a rehearsal. A lot of the cast changed recently. I didn't see the first lineup but the show was amazing (there's a different green heather and a new JD)

This video does the show no justice. This was from its run in Los Angeles, which means it went through several changes from the run in LA to the run in NY. To all the people that say "this looks terrible"... I highly recommend you watch any of the public performances or even the highlights video on here. This show is phenomenal. I laughed and cried. This show is something special.

Dan highlights the psycho sense of JD especially during meant to be yours. I remember the first time I watched it I was absolutely frightened of him. Ryan is gorgeous and has much better chemistry with Veronica, but he kinda reminds me of just a bad boy, they're both great in their own unique ways. But ryan has a smoother voice while Dan is much stronger in acting as the smooth psychopath.
