Ethan Marsh Oh absolutely. I just meant this is Guy Ritchie’s best since The Man From UNCLE in 2013. Bc since then he’s done an unwanted King Arthur movie and the awful 2019 Aladdin
if you wish to be the king of the jungle, its not enough to act like a king. you must be the king. there can be no doubt, because doubt causes chaos and ones own demise.
To me it's more of a "just got out of my 1969 mustang on a rainy night in november with a leather brown coat and boots with the camera shooting my feet walking into a bar". 😂
The Gentlemen brought me here, awesome movie... I feel like good movies are rare these days... Also good music... So rare... So I'm happy to be here... Found this awesome musician 👌🏻😀
Even though, I am here after watching The Gentlemen, while listening to this song, I travelled back in the past when I was a little kid playing near a river under the hot summery sun. I miss those times.
The Gentlemen. Probably the most entertaining film that is actual pish. I salute Guy Ritchie for presenting actual human shit and making it incredible viewing. I never thought I'd end up a Hugh Grant fan.
Hahahaha Hugh Grant man , who would of thought it, all them years playing the same annoying stuttering fool, and guess what the guys a fucking great actor 🙈

For those who mostly like the song for the movie, this might be a hit or miss comment, but: For fans of the genre, Airplane, and Put 'Em Up Solid might stand out even more. The Album is great.
Oh look - Another slick, soullessly clever, well-appointed flick fulla boys from Guy Ritchie ... these opening graphics are such a pitch perfect promise of a sensuous sinister world ...but the MUSIC! listen ! ....isn’t that Gillian Welch? Yes! So this is a David Rawlings thing- This is AWESOME ! Because, you know, Guy Ritchie has shittons of fans and some are bound to track this tune down and have the good sense to want more. Personally I hope at least a couple discover Gillian as well. Imagine Guy Ritchie being responsible for some guy hearing ‘Elvis Blues’ ...
I just realised its based off of “the story of daniel boone” when he goes away from home and starts his story in the part of kentucky where he makes a fort called “boonesborough” in the cumberland gap. Im halfway through the book annsi recomend it, the song makes alot of sense when you read the book wven partially through. The cover of the music video speaks some of the book as well.
It's so cheesy that there're actually people who liked that line and quote it, it's just a silly cliché line that a character in the movie uses to make his re-telling of an event more dramatic and silly; it's not actually a good line, it's pretty run of the mill, and it's intended to look silly
Do you know why God gives us so much? Because we're the only part of the creation he deems perfect. He loves us so . Because we're the perfect line between purity and evil.. the only living beings to acknowledge our own chance
the gentleman has a more the snatch vibe to it! Memorable characters, great twist and storyline, great polished looks and sounds. Amazing, the only movie i had the urge to rewatch immediatly!
I won't lie. I bought this record because of 'The Gentleman' 2 month wait last year during Covid (I'm not sure if it was logistics or if they had to press a new one just for me or what?); but the album is great from start to finish! It's also incredibly well recorded despite what one might think from hearing this highly compressed CZcams version. Edit - I shouldn't have been surprised about the recording given that I already have a couple Gillian Welch records off of this label.
If you wish to be the king of the jungle, it’s not enough to act like a king. you must be the king and there can be no doubt for doubt causes chaos and ones own demise..

I am. But years after watching. Out of love.

Gotta love guy Ritchie openings. They always shred!
Always!

my wife told me that
When the lion’s hungry......he eats!
All buds no dust
On the next movie, I hope Eric Cantona will be part of the casting !
Gentleman 🕶️
Just watched The Gentlemen. Easily Guy Ritchie’s best work in years. That movie is phenomenal
Snatch is still his best though
Ethan Marsh Oh absolutely. I just meant this is Guy Ritchie’s best since The Man From UNCLE in 2013. Bc since then he’s done an unwanted King Arthur movie and the awful 2019 Aladdin
@@Ethan_488 Strongly disagree. Snatch was good IMO, but it was the least interesting of his gangster movies for me.

Look closely at the imagery of the album. You could guess why from there
This song will get a boom this days because of the great movie "The Gentlemen". Also, great song!

Worth the theater ticket to find this song. The Gentlemen was good too though
Bro I ain't even got thru the credits n I switched it off to find this song. Played it about 5 times on loop 🤣 I'll go back to movie in a min
I love the sound of this song....makes me feel like driving down a highway with the top down....smokin' ;)
To me it's more of a "just got out of my 1969 mustang on a rainy night in november with a leather brown coat and boots with the camera shooting my feet walking into a bar". 😂
