- North West has opened up on social media about her diagnosis with a learning disability, and her reality star mom, Kim Kardashian, is clearly not very pleased about it.

Kim wants the world to think they are perfect. North is an open an honest young girl.
Kim has shared her entire life with the public, which at times showed them less than perfect, so that wasn't the reason. North was told not to discuss topics that they haven't previosly agreed to talk about. That is fair and wise request as North is still a kid and may introduce topics better left alone at the moment, as well as for the safety of her and the family. North, please stick to the discussed topics.

My grandson has dyslexia and has special classes in school. He’s improved greatly and there’s nothing to be ashamed about Kim!!
Also it lets kids know that even famous people are still just people.

North, you having dyslexia is a blessing because you use your platform to help other kids with the same disability as you. Kim, you need to know that already along with Kanye and the rest of the family. Education about dyslexia is always a great stepping stone.
Kim wanted to protect her daughters medical privacy. It wasn't coming from a place of shame. Kim knows from experience, don't put all of your private life out there. It can come back to haunt you. Also Kim has spoken to North before not to discuss topics on Socia Media that I haven't been previously approved. A child doesn't completely understand the nuances of what they have said in the public.

Dyslexia doesn't have anything to do with it
I understand a mom not wanting her kid to disclose personal information to a world that is hungry for information about them. I think Kim curates a public persona & isn't as "real" with us as people have assumed her to be. I understand wanting to protect your kid from offering information that could impact them emotionally. Dyslexia isn't bad, but that doesn't mean it doesn't have the potential to be an emotionally charged subject for a 10 year old. Kids believe the best in people... until they're given a reason not to. I don't know how I would parent my kids in an environment like that, but she seems to be doing a good job keeping them as safe as possible given the circumstances...
My brother was diagnosed with a learning disorder when he was 7. He attended a special needs school from grade 2 till grade 12. He became more confident and excelled. He was always a top student and he even joined the debating team. He and his school came in 2nd place. He recently graduated with a marketing degree. LDs are nothing to be ashamed of.

Did you see the video? She was simply warning her that she is sharing personal stuff to millions of people. Kim knows how brutal the public can be. Just look at the endless of memes made of Bella Throne mocking her for her dyslexia. She's just protecting her daughter.

I agree. Some people in my family dealt with learning disabilities related to reading and they are doing very well as adults!
I’m shocked, but also have several questions. Why does a ten year old have TikTok? How does North feel about her disability? How come has the family remained quiet about this even though they share so much? These are all obviously very personal questions and they don’t have to answer any of it for obvious reasons but this all is just very shocking.
She feels because they are rich her daughter is supposed to be perfect

As long as the child knows the Mother corrected the child from a place of love and caring, they will survive just like most of us have when corrected by our Mothers.
I think it's brave of North going live about her learning disabilities it will help kids her age that have the same issue

As if I had any respect for Kim, I lost whatever I may have had. She’s only increasing the stigma about learning differences (not disabilities). Shame on her. But, good for North!
The world doesn't need to know, also I think as her mom she would be concerned about people wanting to hurt her daughter. There is no stigma involved, she didn't freak out or yell or shame the kid, it was privacy that she was concerned about

As a disabled person I agree with Kim north shouldn’t be talking about her dyslexia as she might’ve not been officially diagnosed or Kim wanted to make that information private.
Personally I think Kim is upset that North disclosed this information because she’s used to controlling the narrative

All my life I thought I was damaged because my mother said I was. Under pressure of time I wrote a phone number down and backwards.my friend pointed it out, I said just hold it up to a mirror.She said OMG your dyslexic? She explained you have to be of average or above average intelligence.I had nuns tell me I was full of the devil whack me with rulers.North is a tech savy highly intelligent child. I'm so happy dyslexia is more understood.

I was diagnosed at age 8 and i graduated high school and guess what went on to Grad school. People can still function and get an education.
And dyslexia is NOT just about reading “slower” I hate how the narrator of this video states that; as the signs of it change depending on the age when the child is actually diagnosed or symptoms or noticed.
Children can show weak cognitive skills in one area and make up for it in another area and signs can go undiagnosed for a few years!
