I played through this section last night with Chris.It's probably been about 18 months since I did it with Jill, so I totally forgot about the camera angle when you first walk in the room, where the camera is pointed low as you see it slowly crawl across the ceiling. Disgusting and horrific. Pro tip: if you turn around and walk out immediately, when you walk back in then the camera angle will have changed and the spider will be off screen. 4 shotgun shots, then leave the room to despawn the corpse, problem solved
nice work on the stream Andy, i thin the sharks cheat, it doesn't look like there is enough space for them to get onto the flooded walkway and still be able to move
I do have Arachnophobia but I have a much stronger Ophidiophobia. The fear of snakes. Yawn is my biggest Resident Evil 1 remaster biggest fear. More than the tigerhawk spiders

Saw mention of Zero Escape games and wanted to pipe in my endorsement (no spoilers). Also known as the Nonary games, it's a series focusing on escaping via puzzles and very many endings that mostly not good. They do in-depth discussion of science and pseudoscience to an umpteenth degree. I feel the second one's true ending is probably the strangest out of all of them, but all of them are good to play through to completion if you can stand the pseudoscience. Definitely a good reason they've ran three games. All are available on Steam and no longer DS exclusive.

Oh, this is a remaster of the 2002 GameCube remake, not the original. Maybe that's why my super vague memories of the OG games make the remasters feel "wrong." I'll have to go look at footage of those and see if that explains my confusion.
Yeah, the remake changed a lot about the original, including entirely new areas, enemies, puzzles and plot points (Like the monster in chains that never existed in the OG RE)
Something I've heard is that excessive swearing is supposed to demonetized your vids yet YT typically only checks the first 30 seconds due to the sheer volume of uploads, so many creators keep their intro clean to avoid it. Of course, if it's reviewed for whatever reason then it could still get demonetized later on, so some just avoid swearing altogether.
