Thank you for watching and happy holidaysâ€ïž
Hi Paris! My favorite 2 new scents for this year are Peppermint and cocoa shavings (Wooden Wick Co.) and Silver Sparkles (Bramble Berry). Both are beautiful! I love Frosted Fraizer Fir and Pralines and Carmel + Sugared Vanilla, a blend I created last year, and Christmas Memories, which is a classic! Those are my favorites this year! I have a total of 8 Holiday scents this year. I'm glad you found a soy/coconut blend to work with. Isn't it so much easier than regular soy! I also use a soy/coconut blend for my regular line. I use an Apricot Coconut blend for my luxury line. I hope you've had a successful 2020! Personally I can't wait for 2021 to get here! I'm looking forward to Covid-19 being behind us and a bit of normal to return. Happy Holidays! Jill Gross

Ok Paris, Iâm sooo in love with your inspirational videos itâs truly helpful and I appreciate you! On this particular video Iâm switching from my regular testing 464 to coconut soy wax! Iâve been doing some research and this is my confirmation! I know there are several wax suppliers globally but if you donât mind can you please share which supplier you purchase this specific wax from?? Thanks in advance and btw I love the fact that the fragrance load is 6% and HT Is đŻđŻđŻ
When I first watched this video I didn't believe that 6% FO would give a good hot throw. However, I have never used cocosoy wax. Well let me tell you...I bought one of your candles and it smelled great. The scent was light but it did fill my bedroom. You have now convinced me to try cocosoy wax for my own candles! :-)
Glad to help!!đ
Thank you for the support đđ
Merry Christmas
Same to you!
Awesome. Im ready to learn... got my Coconut Soy ready!
Letâs get itâ€ïžđȘđœđŻ Thank you for watching!
@@LadyCIMONNECandleCo Well I see where I been messing up on one thing... I have tins that hold 6oz of wax and instead of doing 5 oz of wax and then adding my oz of FO, it explains why I have left over wax. Also im going to try this method. I have made 2 candles with the temps of: Heat 185-FO-165- Pour- 135 and also Heat 190-200 FO-200-Pour 180. These were recommended in a group because I wasnt sure when to add FO and pour for a good hot throw. Thank you so much for this.
Dy Finley FB is not a good place to get those answers, I always say itâs best to call your wax company they will give you the correct answer.
@@dyfinley2540 My candle supplier instructed my temps that use right on their website and itâs been working for me just fineđđœ
@@dyfinley2540 I have always encouraged checking with your supplier and test from there!
I just came across your video. I use coconut soy and have been looking for some temp tips.
Thank you so much for this video! Can you suggest an alternative vessel to the one from Candlescience when they are out of stock, please? Thanks!
Hey there, great video! I really appreciate how thorough you are at explaining things. That Streudal & Spice smells soo good, I'm burning it now testing a jar đđŸ.
Yes smells so good!
Have you ever thought about using a bench scraper to break off chunks? That's what I'm going to try.
I may try itđ
Hiii! I love your videos! :) I use soy wax 464 and I hate how it looks after the first burn, tons of craters.. does c6 have craters?!? Thanks for all your videos â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž
Hi! Thank you for this video, its very informative!! Recently i started using coconut- soy wax, and when i found your video i was so happy. There is only one question i have , because i live in Sweden , the temperature is always colder, do you think that i need the 5 day curing time with coconut-soy , or i can cut it to 2 or 3 day? Or the temperature does not matter? Thank you!đ
Could you show a video of you making a small batch of 6 candles. Thank you!
This video shows how I made small batches. I made 6 candles per each scent. đ
What size a you jars did you say again sorry and you really done a great job and your video was on point I donât make candles but like to watch itâs relaxing to watch
Love your videos, thank you so much for sharing! I use c6 also. When they are all
cooled off they all have that cottage cheese top. If I hot gun them, they get even worse. Do you ever have that issue?
Never had that issue - a heat should have done the trickđđœ
Nice video. Iâm just starting out and am working with the same wax. Would love to use you as a resource. - BTW: We have the same pj pants! Lol
Thank you! Hahaha!
Do you have a video showing where your candles set :)
Girl get ready for me to bother u when I get my wax and jars đ€Łđđ€Łđ
đ No bother!
Hi Paris love your videos đ„°. Quick question concerning your wax melts... Do you use a new wax because Candle Science has discontinued the Golden Flakes?
Other candle suppliers carry tart wax; there are so many suppliers out there like The Flamming Candleđđœ And thank you!
Hello Paris. Thank you for all you do. How long do you keep your jars in the oven. My wicks were very limp yours were still straight
Just until they are warm to the touch :)
Wonderful video! How long do you let your jars warm in the oven?
Until they are warm
Thank you so much for this. By chance - do you know if the C6 and the coconut soy 454 from candle science is the same? I cannot seem to find a video on the 454 - and if it is the same - then this is perfect -:)
How long do you met your candle cure before burning it?
Thank yoooou for sharing your knowledge!
About a weekđ
I have coconut/soy wax for 8 oz jar and ECO 8 wick. I wonder if this is going to burn fine.
I use coconut apricot creme wax in the same 9 oz jars can you give me some advice on which Wick to use in that jar, would you recommend CD 10
Hey Friend! Thanks for the awesome info! How long do you cure your candles for? Iâm a newbie and welcome any advice thank you đ kara
About a week but it depends on ordersđđœ
Hi Paris I just got my 9 oz straight sided jars in but on the bottom of the jar it says six but on the package it says 9 oz jars I put it on the scale and it's weighing at 6 oz instead of seven would I still be able to follow the same rules being that it's only a ounce off?
It actually can hold up to 10% and itâs suggested at 10 as well. Have you tried a higher FL %?
Yes! 6% puts out a nice throw for međ
Whatâs your choice of 3rd scent?
I Loved your video and will be following you. How do you center your wicks?
Thank you! Iâve been doing it long enough to just eye ball it lol
@@LadyCIMONNECandleCo When you first started how did you center?
Thanks nice video .How much wax did you measure out for the 9 oz candle
Please check out my formula videosđ
Hi Paris! Well to start I have been testing my candles for the past 2 months. I have been trying different wicks but still getting bubbles around the wick. What is the best wick to use and from where? Also I have been heating up the jars to make sure to the pour comes out better. Do you think its my temperature pour? By the way I love your videos.
Wicks are based on jar size, wax and how much oil you so I canât really tell you what is the best wick to use because they all are Duffy and there are so many. But bubbles typically are not due to wick. Check out my troubleshooting video and my guide to help! But in the meantime, just use a heat gun to smooth out the tops đ
Hello. How good is the hot through with that type of wax?
how long do you leave the candles to warm up each time in the oven before pouring the wax and is it always at 175 degrees in the oven? love your videos xo
Until the jars are warm
Thank yu so much for your videos... please do not stop making them! I do have a question that I might had missed in the video. How long do you leave your jars in the oven? And does that really help your wax to adhere to the jars better once your candle starts to cure? Iâve been running into this issue while making my candles the wax separates from the glass and looks horrible đ« help please!
Hello and thank you! Just until they are warm to the touch; yes it helps me which is why I began implementing it into my process đ
Hi whats your melting, adding fo and pouring temp.?
Are wood wicks compatible with coconut soy wax?
I normally use eco 14 or 16 with my 10 oz jars. What would be a similar equivalent for CD?
Not necessarily...if you want to use CD wicks, I recommend still testing or asking the supplier what they suggest for your jarsđ
.....thank you,you really have great videos.Question - when I light my soy wax candle on....around it on the top appears like small dew- drops. Why? đ€đ€And is it supposed to be like that? đ€đ€
Itâs probably not stirred well or itâs too much FOđđœ
How do you avoid rough tops with coco soy wax after burning
How precise does your pour temp need to be? It seemed like you were allowing it to rest on the counter for a bit before adding fragrance and then stirred for a couple minutes. Iâm always feeling like I need to rush to keep the temperature times within a certain window. Now Iâm thinking I may not be giving my FO enough time to combine.
I heat to 185 and let cool to 165. I add my FO at 165 and pour at 145. Thatâs what has worked for me during my testingđ
Where can I find the pouring pitchers?
Does the wick matter that we use? I started with a whole bunch of wicks I got but it was from marketplace and I donât know what kind it is :( I would really like to use them though (itâs a lot)
How is the hot throw with that wax?
Hello, I made a candle using 464 far away it smell like wax burning like you couldnât tell what fragrance it was⊠how can I solve this or what is the reason
Hello Paris , hope all is well . I have a question on c6 . I'm heating to 185 , pouring at 145 and I still get the lumpy tops . im heating the tops with a heat gun but its still lumpy . can you help please ? ps. im a huge fan , I watch your videos daily . be blessed .
Sometimes it takes going over the candles multiple times using a heat gun. Natural wax is tricky so you have to have patience and troubleshoot.
What is the curing time for coconut soy wax
So I use 1116 grams of wax..six 9oz straight sided jars..so I'm still getting use to figuring out the FO math..so I did 10 percent and came up with 111.6 rounded to 112grams..did I do it right..đ€đ€
Hey is there a reason you use cd 12 wick I seen on long star candle for the same jar to use cd 18 what are your thoughts?
CD 12 works for this jar for me. Itâs what I released my business with so Iâve tested itđđœ
Oh my God I'm late to the party. How can I buy some candles. I have to get this. Or something else from you
Thank you so much for your video â€ïž can you mix the coconut c-6 blend with 464 soy wax?
Iâve never done it but Iâm sure you can
@@LadyCIMONNECandleCo Thank you I appreciate you taking the time to reply, I'm having sweating, wet spots, and sinkhole issues with just the 464 along I was reading a candle making book & it suggested maybe blending so I was thinking of coconut wax. Is the coconut c-6 blend already blended with soy wax đ€
@@honeyb2917 Yes itâs a coco soy blend
@@LadyCIMONNECandleCo thank you very much
Hello! Thanks so much for your videos...
What made you switch to coconut wax? Iâve been wanting to try it...
Also did I hear you say the name of this coconut wax is C6?
What temp did you heat it to?
I was just curious and started testing with and just decided to switch. I believe I mentioned what I love about it in the video; yes itâs C6 I have linked in the description box; I heat to 185đđœđ
Thanks
Do you know if c6 is the same a the wooden wick co virgin coconut soy wax?
