Hi I’m in the Cincinnati area and was wondering what is the best type of test to find what foods I’m sensitive or allergic to, I hear mixed opinions on this so much. Thanks
Hi, generally I use Cyrex Labs for food intolerance testing. One thing to keep in mind is that there is food allergy testing which is more IgE based, Cyrex is more based on IgA/G/M to my knowledge. Food reactions may also not be immunogenic but more based on carbohydrate structures and how the microbiome metabolizes them ie FODMAP reactions. So if I'm suspecting an IgE reaction I will just run testing through LabCorp, ARUP, or Quest but if I'm suspecting how foods are affecting autoimmunity I will use Cyrex.
Saved my life!!! Best place to go to get help!
