Guys come to the competition not really taking the contest seriously; until they realize they are getting smoked. Then they turn serious and try to catch up. To no avail; they lose.

I agree, unless it's a PHO / Noodle challenge and with some exceptions using utensils to win a food challenge is almost always done with your hands. If you have time to use a knife and fork, you're not really trying. Cheers 🍺
