- Sea-Legs provides pontoon owners greater parking flexibility when dock space isn’t available. Boaters can raise their pontoon several inches off the water in about 30 seconds using the Sea-Legs remote control or a back up toggle switch (next to the hydraulic pump), preventing the vessel from drifting.
The twin-tube system features hydraulically controlled, six-foot legs with two large 18 inch by 48 inch pivoting pads for optimal surface area in almost any type of lake bottom. A single 1.6hp, 12-volt power unit supplies the two fore and two aft hydraulic cylinders with 3,500 psi (or nearly 6,000 lbs. of lifting power). Retracted, the tubes rest within five inches of the pontoon deck, allowing the use of scissor pontoon trailers. Installing the legs adds approximately 350 lbs. to the pontoon, which the company says is evenly distributed throughout the boat. The two-tube system is compatible with pontoons ranging from 18 to 26 feet in length and is optionally available with eight-foot legs for deeper water. The company makes lifts for triple-tube models as well.
Do you have to raise the boat all the way up, or can you raise it, say, halfway up, to align with your dock, provided the pontoons are fully out of the water?
They have very poor customer service.
Can you leave the pontoon in a lake all winter on the sea legs, Minnesota lake. Will ice damage the sea legs
Not a good idea, aluminum is too soft and will split.
Can't hear and also can't find a dealer anywhere near me!
Nice video, can't hear him,,,,,
My xi5 will hold me in place, for a lot less money and it works in any depth of water.
