Oil spill is one type of pollution of sea water due to human activities.oil spill is nothing but leakage or flow of liquid petroleum hydrocarbons from containers to the surface of water. Oil spill affects the aquatic animals, palnts and even also birds. Oil spill form a oil coat on the body surface of animals and on the feathers of bird. Oil spill restricts the movement of animals and prevent the entry of sunlight in to the sea water. Birds cannot fly due to this oil coat on their feathers. So we should take preventive measures to control oil spills and also to save aquatic organisms.
