【Hot Milk(ホット・ミルク)とは？】
ハン・ミーとジム・ショウの２人がフロントを務める４人組エモ・パワー・ポップ・バンド。ジムとハンは2016年にマンチェスターのノーザン・クォーターのバーで出会い、すぐに友達になり、一緒に暮らし始めた。外が小雨の中、リビングルームでワインとアコースティック・ギターを手に、曲を書き始めた。それはやがて彼らの日常生活を生き抜くための方法となった。マンチェスターの気候と、心の穴を埋めたいという彼らの執拗な欲求が相まって、昼休みに仕事を終えて家に帰り、また一晩中起きて、ソングライティングに打ち込んでいった。そして、Oasisのノエル・ギャラガーが「モーニング・グローリー」を書いた、まさにそのアパートでバンドは結成された。その後彼らは、マンチェスターの音楽シーンで快進撃を続けている。
怒りや痛みを抱えたメッセージをシンガロングなメロディーにのせて歌う彼らに、同世代から今大きな共感が寄せられている。これまでにEPを３枚リリースし、2023年8月発売の『ア・コール・トゥ・ザ・ヴォイド』がデビュー・アルバムとなる。2023年11月には待望の初来日公演も決定！
